What is your opinion of why the draft has eschewed the Sanders offspring? One commentator said there was a failure to "code switch". What do you think of that take?

If by failure to "code switch," you mean failure to act like a prospective employee looking for an opportunity with your organization like a reasonable professional, then, yes. I do believe there is a sense around the PTB in the league that this kid needs to be taken down a couple pegs and dished some humble pie. You don't walk into an interview with billionaires who are prepared to make you a millionaire dozens of times over and cop an attitude. There is a great deal talent there and I don't doubt that he is a better QB than most of the others drafted before, but, he needs to check his ego.
