Stone Roses are pretty damned good. I wasn't a manchester rock type when I was in high school, but the wife was. With the marriage, I came across a bajillion stone roses singles. got really into it until I listened to the latest album. kinda sorta blows.

class of 87 ......

loved the music back then, boy if could still fit in the band t-shirts I lived in back then .. VH-1 classic is okay with the Alternative but they repeat alot of the same artists (depeche mode , Moz ) . I am still on the search for my Gibson 335 this weekend . I am still a "bedroom guitar hero" thinking he is Johnny Marr.

Happy to be here ...I guess the TOT is done ?

Not done yet, but the music forum in this sordid clambake is better, IMO.

I remember reading in a review once that the Stone Roses took a long time
between albums because they had been locked in an attic somewhere,
drilled and rehearsed until they started to sound like Led Zeppelin. :P

Not a big fan my bad self, but I thought "Love Spreads" was a decent tune.

excuse me, in the Republican Party.” (NPR Interview Of Howard Dean
