Iranian spy ship no more
https://deepnewz.com/iran/u-s-reportedl ... i-48eb5848
Zagros (SIGINT), Iran’s most advanced spy ship, sunk by US forces while Israel was attacking Hamas in Gaza.
I’m not familiar with this news source, so this is not 100% confirmed.
More unconfirmed verbiage:
The breaking news, first reported by Eyal Yakoby on X early Tuesday, has sent shockwaves across social media, with unconfirmed reports flooding in from Saudi sources and sparking a firestorm of speculation.
The Zagros, a domestically built vessel launched in January 2025, was designed to intercept cyber operations, monitor maritime activities, and bolster Iran’s naval presence amid escalating proxy conflicts with the U.S., Israel, and their allies.
Unveiled just two months ago as a pinnacle of Iran’s naval innovation, the Zagros—equipped with cutting-edge signals intelligence capabilities—was seen as Tehran’s watchful eye over strategic waterways.
But now, it lies at the bottom of the sea, raising urgent questions about the future of U.S.-Iran relations, regional stability, and the volatile Red Sea crisis.

Re: Iranian spy ship no more
I think the intent is to prevent a war. Iran and its proxys (proxies ?) seem intent on keeping the region embroiled in chaos. Seems to me the Trump message is “Stop fucking lobbing missiles at our bases and at ships in the Red Sea.”
If Biden had blasted a Houthi launch site the first time they fired missiles at our troops, this shit likely would have stopped immediately. Instead, he allowed repeated attacks on our bases causing many injuries to US soldiers. Biden only responded after three Americans were killed.

No.
If you keep allowing these attacks, the perps don’t get the message. They witnessed us being pussies for years. Biden: “Please quit hurting our soldiers.” When an Iranian proxy killed 3 (black)* soldiers, Biden finally retaliated.
If we had hit our enemies hard the first time they attacked, they likely would have figured out that we meant business.
*I noted the soldiers killed were black to be certain it enraged the left as well as the right in here.
Well, shit. Mikey’s post is gone! My response was to his comment suggesting I was supporting killing the enemy before they had an opportunity to hurt us. Thus making me a warmonger.

I'd be wary of any 'Newz' source. They have got an extensive Anime review department.
I remember someone posting articles on here from 'Middle East News and Motocross' a while back.

Thank god it's not been confirmed.
We only like confirmed news in the Iran War thread (terrorism on the values of the western world).

Still nothing confirmed.
But Iranian Major General Hossein Salami says if Iran is attacked, there will be a “devastating” response.
I assume Colonel Mustard likely works closely with Salami.

General Hossein Salami threatens the US:
"We are not a nation to live in hiding. We are a valid and legitimate system in the world. We announce it if we attack anywhere," Salami said in a speech broadcast in Farsi.
The general did not say Iran had been threatened, but that the country would offer a "decisive and devastating response to any threat" against it.
