Total lunar eclipse

Post by Mikey »

Is anyone going to be up for it? Starts in a little over an hour. Totality at 11:58 pm here. We have a break in the storm and can see the moon now in a crystal clear sky, but not sure about later.

Son sent me a pic of it from TN via text. It was probably spectacular here in SWFL. But I didn't see it.

Saw a red moon around 7-7:30pm on the horizon.

Got cloudy and started to rain later that night. Me no see.

We had a break in the storm and an incredibly crystal clear sky last night. Stars were shimmering and several planets visible.

This isn't a particularly clear picture (taken with an iPhone), but it was just before the white crescent completely disappeared.

I found my rain gage a couple of days ago (a plastic container with inches marked off on it). We got almost 1 1/2" since Thursday night. Not all that much but we're supposed to get more today.

You should get in touch with Trump and have him direct the Army Corps of Engineers to open the flood gates on all the reservoirs up there. That should help us prevent next year's wildfires.

I think he's busy working on the economy in dumbfuckistan.

Probably wouldn't have time to take my call.

Thanks for looking out.

Tommy interviewing Steve Young at his San Francisco Bay Area home.

I think Steve's yard would give yours a run for the money.
