I've been a HUGE BF fan since BF1942 came out and play the hell out of BF2 (my stats: http://bf2tracker.com/bf2_userprofile.p ... d=43710411 ).
Part of my attraction to the BF games is that they incorporate real world weapons whether it's WWII, Vietnam or modern era. If I wanted to play with robots and laser guns, I'd play UT or Quake. I'm kind of disappointed that this will be a BF game. I'm sure it well be a great game but my days of playing futuristic shooters came and went years ago.
