Verizon Treo 700

Post by Mister Bushice »

I just bought it. I needed mobile web access, a cel phone and a PDA. Didn't want to have to carry three things around with me, so I upgraded the phone.

Anyone else have one? Any user tips? I'm still in manual reading stage.

One thing I haven't got to yet is how to switch the keypad back to keyboard from phone dialer to enter passwords, like for listening to voice mail. Mine right now defaults to the phone pad, and the white keys are inactive.

Also - is it possible to use an external keyboard or monitor for this thing?

Lastly, I was looking at voice software for this badboy. There's only one available I could find. I want to be able to voice call from my contacts list.

I'm personally a Blackberry kind of guy. I have seen a few people use the Treo and I did like the touch screen feature on it.

nice having an all in one.
