Here's the deal: Every day my Microsoft Anyspyware scan does its check, this threat pops up. I remove it, no problems, but it's back the next day when the scan runs. I remove it, and this process continues daily. I only visit a small handful of sites while I'm at work and do very little surfing, googling, etc. I assume it's from a site I visit each day since it keeps coming back, but I do not visit any sites that are (theoretically) dangerous at work. Anyone heard of this, and know a remedy? The details says it's a high risk threat and infects: c:\winnt\system32\cskyt.exe

Your system probably keeps getting re-infected each time you re-boot. An easy fix that should work, although its not guaranteed, is to boot up in Safe mode in windows after you update your virus and spyware checker(s) and then running them in safe mode.

Also if you know the name of the spyware, do a search on google for removal information for it. Some of them tend to be a real pain while others just require you to remove load line from the registry and then after you reboot, just remove the files.

Depending on your level of voodoo, you can also check your registry, since it could even be something as simple as something having been dropped in your "run" folder.

Start>Run>"regedit">HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Not saying that's where your problem is, and I'd try the other suggestions first, but it's a pretty frequent occurence that some previously unknown entry in that folder is causing you some serious problems. Look for any entry that alludes to whatever problem your having, which you really didn't describe. But if a certain undesired service is loading at startup, that's often where it's launched from.

And if you don't stop surfing porn at work, you'll go blind. Or get a wicked case of carpal tunnel or something.
