Flying games

Post by ElTaco »

Ok so I went out and purchased the Logitech Freedom wireless 2.4Ghz Joystick because I didn't have any good joysticks for flying games.

In the past I've played IL-2 STURMOVIK, which is a World War II flight simulator. Its a great game, but I can't seem to find it.

Anyone have any recommendations for some decent flying games?

Awe... jeez, you mean you and I have something in common? I used to play Warbirds for years! Online was much more fun than stand-alone games. I recently picked up "Wings over Vietnam" dissapointed with it. Boring missions over and over again. I want SWOTL back.

Scary!

If you haven't tried IL-2 STURMOVIK, give it a shot. Its a great multiplayer game. I like it due to its real life simulation, which is fairly good. I've only played the single missions once or twice so I can't tell you too much about them, but unless there is a better/newer game out there, I'll have to find it again and see if I can fly better with the new joystick.
