Well there's a whole bunch of emo dorks in Orlando. The show sold out! :(

Still might go try to get tickets though.

death cab is emo and it is fantastic emo.

the old emo stereotype is dead. yeah you see a lot of the ones who are still the same but for the most part, death cab is defining a new standard.

american football was great emo too.

Decent show. They didn't unimpress with anything they did, and they didn't mind blow either. All around just a solid show. My seat was incredible...had literally the best view in the house.

This is exactly how I feel about last night's performance. Best songs of the night were "We Looked Like Giants" and "Transatlanticism" — and it's only a coincidence that both happen to be my favorite songs from the last album. Those were the only two songs it seemed they put their heart and soul into while playing. Music got louder, they improvised and added extra choruses and instrumental breaks and all that jazz.

99% of the audience consisted of 16-year olds and under! We stood in the "Senior Citizens Section" with all the other 20-somethings. It was so strange. Before the show, we asked the kid in line next to us how old he thought we were because we were bored and curious if we looked our age amongst the young'ns, and he said,"23? 22? 21? 20?" I wanted to give him a hug because the numbers kept getting lower. ;)

Stars opened up for them. Decent performance. The female singer's voice was very pretty. They totally reminded me of Shelleyan Orphan. Anyone remember them?

All in all, glad I went to the show. Not sure I'd drive two hours to see them again though, but it's all about rock'n roll lifestyle baby! I love being at work on only four hours of sleep!

I wasn't expecting them to pour a lot of emotion into their sets when I saw them. DCFC tours almost as much or more than anybody, and there are just going to be some nights where you're going through the motions and not totally into it. I think the show I was at was one of those nights for them.
