All around good news for college football, dude is fun to watch but I wouldn’t be tuning in if he was wearing an NFL jersey.

Is that Costello kid still have eligibility Mikey? Side topic, whenever I watched the Tree play this season it always reminded me of the movie The Departed. “Are you Costello’s rat?”

LOL. Yeah Costello was a redshirt freshman last year so he's still around with big upside.

Hopefully they can work Love a little more into the passing game. McCaffrey made some of his biggest plays on wheel routes which had a pretty good percentage of success. They almost never threw to Love last season. One of his first big plays in college was on a short pass that he took about 80 yards to the house.

I think Wisky had 5 underclassmen who requested draft evaluations. Only one is leaving. Most of the offense returns.

Stanford is losing four of their best players.

Dalton Schultz, a great TE but there's plenty of talent behind him.

Justin Reid, S - Eric's little brother
Quenton Meeks, CB
Harrison Phillips had 103 tackles including 17 TFL in an impressive season for a NT

These guys will be missed.

Yeah, the little guy does appear to be a little delicate. Needs to work on his ankle strength in the off season.

Washington State's quarterback won't be coming back next season.

Sad story.

There"s a chance Bama's best recruiter might be heading home for 2018, as well.

Happy for college football, not happy for Notre Dame, although I don't think it matters because Shaw has made Kelly his personal bitch no matter who he has on offense.

Surprised, given his injury history.

He transfered... his brain from his head to the ceiling.

Eastern Washington will do that to a person.

Well in baseball these kids aren’t declaring for the draft. They are selected as HS seniors or as college juniors without any input from the players. If the player doesn’t hire an agent then they can negotiate with the MLB team on their own and return to school if they want. This however isn’t so much an NCAA thing outside of the agent hiring as it is an MLB thing.

Hockey does something different as well. Players become draft eligible when they are 18. Those with talent are drafted and can still go to college or a and team. The NHL club retains their rights for 5 years. The kid can play college or Juniors and then after a season (or two or three) decide to turn pro.

The NFL would have to change their rules to allow players to be drafted and then to return to school.

Why would it be up to the NFL? If they're not under contract to an NFL team then what hold does the league have on them? Isn't it an NCAA thing?

I just read an article that says something like 33% of underclassmen that declare for the draft never get drafted. They are then in limbo, not able to return to NCAA competition and stuck trying to catch on with some team as an undrafted free agent.
