You're never too old to rock and roll either. Had a very nice looking young woman at our door last night with a young one in a stroller, both in costume. She was striking. We had 50 trick or treaters last night. We do a bit of decorating with lights at the front door. MrsO loves it. She didn't have much as a child and really enjoys the whole holiday.

@14 is the cut-off. Then it gets a little weird and uncomfortable.

I had 75 this year. A little above average. (I give out goody bags...all 5 candy groups represented).
What were we just talking about?

Any age is okay as long as they have a costume.

No costume, no candy.

I found a way to beat that. I set up a chair in my porch, a jack-o-lantern and a big bowl of candy. I then sit out there until the kids are done for the night. No getting up and down, I see some of my neighbors who do the same thing and we have a good time of it.

A friend of mine had candy for the kids and jello shots for the parents.

That's what you call a good neighbor.

Yea, I'm sure that 2 hours of getting up and down once a year is going to save me from infirmity. I'll roll with the 75 reps of squats I'm doing a week and spend a few hours on my porch handing out candy fuck you very much.

Do you know anybody who has died from obesity?

If you did you wouldn't think this was so funny.

Our neighborhood isn't too conducive to trick-or-treating.

No street lights.
150 feet between driveways.
200 foot walk up a steep driveway to get to the door.

The total number we've gotten in the past four years or so is zero.
