to go off on people the way I used to. How is smack any fun when you've posted with the same people for a decade? I feel like most you are my extended dysfunctional family.
I'm sure I'll get my groove back--but at this point, I'm just not feeling it. Call it maturity setting in or a slump...but I've got nothing.
That's just it..the inside jokes over there go over my head. I spent the majority of my time wasting away at .net where the smack isn't and wasn't ever funny.
It'll come back to me. I found myself being a mild mannered version of myself in the college basketball forum instead of going off the way I normally would. It was a WTF moment because I didn't have the energy, care, or desire to come back with much of anything.
...burn-outs invariably happen. Pile-on's and smack downs occasionally fill the tank. However, because of the culpability of the downtrodden the high is too often short lived. A visit to the cooking or books and film forums might offer some stimulation.

Even he's a pretty good dude.
A couple times we were trading some Malignant dwarf / KC Hayseed back and forth and he'd PM me with a LOL at something I wrote.
