Something of a success

Post by Felix »

Had to travel to the Bend/Redmond area last week for a friends daughters wedding and played the Resort Course at Eagle Crest

pretty nice course in decent shape, not all that long (about 6,600 yards) but tight as shit especially on the back side.....my bud and I were fortunate enough to be paired with a guy that works at the resort and was able to kind of give us some direction of where to go and what to avoid.....shot a 78 with a double and a triple, which btw were back to back (fuggin blowup holes are the suck) and two birdies (on the #1 and #4 handicap holes)....first time I've been in the 70's since my shoulder operation

scorecard

so I guess my shoulder must be getting better.....either that or I'm getting luckier
get out, get out while there's still time

If someone drops free passes on me, I'll travel to that arid-assed neck of the lack-of-woods for the Tradition.

Wait, you're from a similar climate. Shit makes my nostrils bleed.

You know that living in arid climates dehydrates your brain, right Felix?

absolutely, but Boise is even drier than Bend, so I figure my brain is probably about 2/3 of the size of someone from the U & L

I get another wedding trip this weekend to the more user friendly climes of Seattle (why won't these people learn to get married at the right time of the year)....unfortunately, no golf this time around....I hate to be so close to a course like Chambers Bay and miss the opportunity to play it....

the good news is, it should partially rehydrate my left frontal lobe.....
get out, get out while there's still time
