Johnny Damon over/under

Post by Jack »

Time on the DL this year - 30 days.

I'm taking the over!

Likelihood of getting booed by YankeesFans by July 1st.

I'm taking the under (before July 1st).

Likelihood of George Steinbrenner calling out Damon by July 1st.

I'm taking the under (before July 1st).

Likelihood of SI having an article on Johnny Damon about the "Samson Effect" by July 1st.

I'm taking the under (before July 1st).

******

Johnny Damon has a sore shoulder..

His ailment is exactly the kind of issue New York owner George Steinbrenner was referring to when he spoke out against the Classic.

"Nothing to say," Steinbrenner repeated twice Tuesday at Yankees camp in Tampa, Fla., as he hustled toward an elevator on his golf cart. "I've said it all."

One thing is sure, the Yankees aren't happy about the fact that Damon is hurting while far away from the team at the WBC.

"That's the thing you dread most is the injury," manager Joe Torre said. "It's sort of a helpless feeling."

Dude had this injury last year. It's just a cover for the fact that he throws worse then a chick. Worse then a right handed chick trying to throw left handed even........

If this thread isn't proof positive that the Yankees are in your bitch ass domes 24X7, I don't know what is.

Overheard at a Sox vs Tampa split squad game in March "Yankees suck! Yankees suck!"

When I think Red Sox baseball, I think Red Sox vs. Yankees!

There is no better rivalry in sports!!

and when when you look at the records over the years, the Yankees are the team to beat!

Whenever I go into a competition or view a competition, I want to go against the Best! and over the years, the Yankees are the Best!

and it may be childish (Hell, it is childish!) but I grin when I see the Yankees lose, and the fact that the Yankees spend more than 5 teams combined and still lose, amuses me!
- I am hoping that the Yankees do not win another World Series in my lifetime! and that's the truth!

I mean.....can you really expect everyone else to rally around Damon if it comes down to defending this fuck? To leave the dugout if he deliberately gets beaned?

In a way, that I'd like to see:One of the Sox pitchers aim right at his head, and not a Yankee in the dugout even shifts in their seat as he goes into a tizzy fit with several Sox players pushing him around.
Tard, you root in sports, not route!

and there is no anger from Soxfans towards Johnny! He played hard while he was here and I wish him the best! I'll just root against him while he plays for the Yankees!!

I don't know what I was thinking last night. I just got through tossing the paper because THE old lady was out trying to score a dime bag and I was thinking paper "route".

Wait... I know what I was thinking about last night.

And Jack, it won't mean that you'll have broken some sacred code of honor if you will at least admit that you would enjoy seeing Damon bitchslapped across his freshly shaven mug. I'd get a kick out of it.
Maybe your he/she bride returned late because she took root 127 instead of 137.

That could have happened.

Maybe that's why your weed didn't appear.

BTW, Damon was nails while with Boston. Props an' all that, but he can go shit in his hat and pull it over Posada's broken nose, do naked chin ups in front of Gary Shitfield 'till he pulls a shoulder strain.
