Warriors vid game
Just picked it up a coupla days ago and I have to say that Rockstar continues to amaze me with their stuff. Big fan of the movie and the game is absolutely dead on. The game follows the story and you get to be all of the Warriors.

Yeah fuckers.... I'm back
Just like in the movie, each Warrior has his own strength and depending upon the mission, one of the main Warriors will lead the mission and you will control him. Ajax, who is voiced by James Remar who played him in the movie, can beat the shit out of anybody in a fight, cops or the other gangs. Right now, I'm stuck on a mission where I have to make Rembrandt paint a burner at a graf contest while trying to fight off other gang members.
Vic, I'm a huge fan of the movie also, and now I'm putting the game on my Christmas list, as it looks great.
After reading this thread, I got curious about getting the movie on DVD and based on several reviews at Amazon, several people said the new Director's Cut DVD just blows. It's got comic book-like transitional scenes, which a lot of people were bitching about. Now, I'm thinking about ordering the original on DVD and forgetting about the new DVD version of it. It sounds like someone managed to fuck up another classic movie by trying to "improve" on it in a newer version.
Do you have the new version of the DVD?

I do Radio. The comic book transitons are minimal- nothing major. There is a thing at the beginning of the film on The DVD where Walter hill talks about why he did a special edition DVD. There are a few cool things- if you don't have a copy of any version yet- buy the new one- the special feature documentaries are pretty cool.RadioFan wrote:Vic, I'm a huge fan of the movie also, and now I'm putting the game on my Christmas list, as it looks great.
