Best book I've read in years.
I was going through a box of books in my basement looking for something to read and came across "East of Eden". Haven't been able to put it down. Incredible. I understand now why this book is considered a classic. Probably one of the great pieces of American literature ever written. If you don't like this book, you're a faggot.
Life's Pretty Straight Without Jimmy Medalions.
East of Eden is the best Steinbeck book I've read. The book flys by. unfortunalty having being forced to read Grapes of Wrath in high school turn me away from Steinbeck for 10 years and it took alot of prodding form the wife to get me to read it.... Definately worth it.
Best books I've read so far this year are:
The Curious Incident of the dog in the Night-Time
By Mark Haddon

And
The Kite Runner
by khaled Hosseini

Pick these up and read them!!! They are great!
