Today in MLB History
OK it would have been yesterday but...

Isn't there a forum for this kind of spam????

Re: Today in MLB History
I see your time is running out.

Can we just fast forward a little?

Re: Today in MLB History
You are posting a MLB story in the main board when there is an MLB Forum.
Also there are numerous other threads for this type of nonsense "spam".
So why exactly are you mad at me for pointing it out?

Cool trip down memory lane. I liked seeing McGuire in the dugout too.
Re: Today in MLB History
It was that year, or maybe the following year, when my wife dressed up our son as Mark McGwire for Halloween. He would have been 9 or 10 at the time. She stuffed some newspapers in the sleeves of a long sleeved shirt and painted a goatee on his face, and it was obvious who he was. We went to the grocery store to pick up some Halloween candy and some guy was all "hey - that's Mark McGwire!!" Funnier than shit.HighPlainsGrifter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:43 pm Cool trip down memory lane. I liked seeing McGuire in the dugout too.

Yeah, I see what you mean. My memory is a little light on details, but I think she might have marked up a long sleeved t-shirt to look like a Cards jersey.Diego in Seattle wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 10:58 pmI would think that in SD he would have also been seen as Caminiti.Mikey wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 10:53 pmIt was that year, or maybe the following year, when my wife dressed up our son as Mark McGwire for Halloween. Dodgers vs. Pods.
Not many happy memories for Podfans. So find a sliver of light and post it. No issues.
