My folks’ go-to radio station when I was growing up was KMPC, 710 AM. Wink was the midday (10-2) DJ, used to listen to him all the time. Afternoon drive was Gary Owens, the announcer on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-in. Great jocks who both crossed over to TV.
