Re: The President's First 30 days...
First, I've never served but I would bet that even AAR's are considered classified, much less mid-op.
Second, I doubt that that the contents of the chat have been released, much less backed up by the editor.
Lastly, if I understand how Signal works, there would be no record of the chat 10 days afterwards. If not for the journalist going public we never would have known about this total clusterfuck of a leak. Is a military devoid of any oversight & a government operating completely what you want?

Re: The President's First 30 days...
Competence doesn't enter into it. You don't have to be competent to use existing secure channels. There is no indication at all that anything illegal or even inappropriate was being discussed.
This was either a deliberate leak or a plumbing operation to identify a leak.

Re: The President's First 30 days...
A cursory listen to the hearings going on today shows the dems obviously targeting Hegseth.
A simple statement by NSA chief Waltz, something to the effect like mine below, would have sufficed.
A member of my staff allowed an un-invited participant to be included in a group chat that detailed elements of a very successful mission that benefitted the United States and our European allies.
There will be a full investigation as to how this occurred along with a complete re-evaluation of communication channel access and the public will be made aware of our findings, keeping with this administration's commitment to transparency not seen in prior administrations.
Again, as mentioned, the great success of the mission was not compromised by this lone oversight, and any information included in the dialogue will NOT provide any advantage to possible adversaries going forward.
Man up, Waltz.

Re: The President's First 30 days...
Damn right.
Secretary Clinton never released any classified information. This administration, OTOH, put TS info out where a reporter w/o a security clearance had access to said TS info. BIG DIFFERENCE.
And your mea culpa statement for Waltz fails to explain why SecDef Harvey Wallbanger allowed planning of a military operation to take place on a 3rd party software that only a week ago HIS OWN DOD warned people not to use it due to it not being secure.
Apparently when military advisors told SecDef Wallbanger that the operation would need OPSEC Hegseth thought they were saying Triplesec....

Both the SecDef as well as the DNI used a 3rd party software that they were warned about a week prior. I'd say that meets the standard of "gross negligence."mvscal wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 11:38 pmA. Re: The President's First 30 days...
https://www.jefftiedrich.com/p/signalga ... gidiotgateSignalGate — the group-chat shit-show that culminated with Piss-Drunk Pete texting classified war plans to a journalist — is pretty bad.
but there’s an even worse scandal happening alongside it: the President of the United States is a low-wattage imbecile who has no fucking clue — and can’t be bothered to care — what his own sewer clown cabinet is up to.
how mind-bogglingly insane is it that there was a discussion about fucking air strikes and the president wasn’t part of it?
I mean, look at who on the chain: the veep, the defense secretary, the secretary of state, the director of the CIA, the treasury secretary — wait, what? Scott Fucking Bessent was on the group chat? why was he looped in on war plans, but not the President of the United Fucking States? Bessent’s a bean-counter. was he there to make sure everyone submitted their expense reports?
President Dumbfuck still has no idea what a group text even is. he’s under the impression that the whole thing was some kind of conference call. listen to a barely-conscious-sounding Donny explain how Jeffrey Goldberg ended up in the group text.
“somebody in my group either screwed up, or it’s a bad signal. y’know, it’s a bad signal, happens too.”
oh, that clears it all up. no wonder screenshots of bombing schedules ended up in the pages of The Atlantic — it was a bad signal.
thanks a lot, Sundowning Grandpa Befuddlepants, you’ve been a huge help.
Donny is so fucking oblivious that when he hears people talking about Signal, he has no idea they’re talking about an app. he thinks they talking about the sound quality of a phone call. which still makes absolutely no sense, because what does the fidelity of a connection have to do with how a reporter became included in it?
welcome to StupidFuckingIdiotGate.
yesterday, four US soldiers in Lithuania were killed during a training operation. nobody in Donny’s administration thought it was important enough to tell him about it, so he heard it first from a reporter.
reporter: “have you been briefed about the soldiers in Lithuania who are missing?”
Donny: “no, I haven’t.”
no, Donny hasn’t — and he doesn’t express the slightest bit of interest about it. no, I haven’t. next question, please.
isn’t it kind of obligatory for a president to care about the troops? not Donny. he could give a shit about the lives of the soldiers he calls losers and suckers.
has there ever been a more absent president than Donny? he just doesn’t care about anyone or anything but himself. he’s lazy as fuck, watches himself on TV all morning, never shows up in the Oval Office before noon, has no clue what his own administration is up to, and spends every weekend cheating at golf at Motel-a-Lago.
imagine if Joe Biden had been asked about missing or dead soldiers and had responded with ‘huh wut?’ the worthless scribblers of the corporate-controlled press would have had a field day. Hannity would have shit roofing nails on live television. Comer Fudd would have announced a new round of impeachment hearings. Marjorie Sporkfoot Greene would have found a way to bring Hunter Biden’s freakishly ginormous trouser hog into the mix.
and nobody would have howled with faux outrage louder than Donald Fucking Trump.

Re: The President's First 30 days...
You understand, all these lawsuit shenanigans with select federal judges from Woke-crazed districts like Boston, San Francisco, Rhode Island, and the DC Beltway are aimed at provoking a second civil war. The objective is to burden Mr. Trump with so many restrictions on the executive that the country can’t be governed without declaring a national emergency.
This is the Democratic Party’s desperate strategy to stay alive: to preserve the flow of taxpayer money to its minions stuffed into the organs of government like cancer cells, and the vast network of NGOs that employ its agents and spread its sickness. The Democratic Party is a malignancy within the republic and the money is the blood-flow that feeds it.
DOGE is the chemotherapy that has starved some of the worst tumors, such as USAID. Chemotherapy is always hard on the patient. Cancer is a very tough and resourceful enemy of a healthy body, and fights back by any means available. Ultimately, it seeks to kill the body it has come to inhabit — in this case, the body-politic of the USA. We are fighting for the life of our republic against a demonic enemy.

Nice going Clown Show.
Now you've pissed off our own fighter pilots and put their safety at risk.
Not to mention pissing off another one of our allies. Israel.
Israel gives you the intelligence of what is where and how to hit it and you gone off and fucked that up too! Compromising one of their intelligence opts.
To say Israel is furious is an understatement.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/israeli-of ... urces-say/
This is what happens when you fire our Top Military Generals and hire a drunk TV host from "Fox News" and surround him with a band of retards.
Now we know why the US attack on Yemen was a complete FAILURE! Missiles are still coming into Israel at an even higher rate. Normally, you see footage of the strikes and what was hit. 100 strikes and not a peep. The mission was a completely compromised by a bunch drunk ass clowns that send emojis to each other like teenage girls.
Why everyone in that chat room was not fired is beyond me. If it was anyone else in the military they would have been fired and brought up on charges and spending a long time in the slammer.

Who said it was successful Sam?
Take your time.
It certainly wasn't Israel. They're the ones that know exactly which target's should have been hit. They haven't confirmed a thing. Other than getting more missile attacks than before.
And being pissed that their intelligence has been compromised thanks to the clown show.
If the clown show says it was successful. Like a good Maga you'll believe it.
The war in Ukraine will end on day one.
The hostages better be released before he gets in office or there will be hell to pay.
Food prices will go down on day one.
Which one of those is true?

Not to mention US fighter pilots saying the pilots lives were put at risk.
Intelligence agencies around the world not wanting to share info with us anymore due to being compromised.
Without Israel's Intel there never would have been a strike on Yemen from the US.
One of Israel's intelligence agents on the ground in Yemen befriended the girlfriend of the top military leader in Yemen and let them know when and where he would be and at what times. Guess what? He just happened to not be there during the strikes. Wonder why? An average college hacker could hack into that chat app. Hopefully he's able to get out of Yemen before they find out who he is.
Sounds real successful Sam.

You apparently have a source in Yemen.
The intent of the attacks was to damage the Houthis’ ability to fire on shipping in the Red Sea and to take out command personnel. Nothing I’ve seen indicated any targets that were firing on Israel. That doesn’t mean they didn’t hit some. All indications are the mission was accomplished. We hit areas where their military leaders were hiding.
I left a message at the Pentagon asking that a general call you, m2.

Trump Leaves Presidency To Become Even More Powerful District Court Judge
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump announced this week that he was leaving office in order to take an even more powerful position as a U.S. District Court judge.
After ascending to the presidency twice in the last decade, Trump set his sights on the next rung up the political ladder, with a spot in the federal judiciary proving him with far more authority to rule the nation.
"I love being president. I'm great at it. The best our country has ever had, many people say," Trump told the press. "But after seeing how much power those U.S. District Court judges have, I've decided to resign the presidency and join the judiciary. They seem to really be able to do anything they want."
Trump announced the move after a series of sweeping rulings from judges over the last several weeks, which greatly limited the breadth of the executive branch's powers. Trump said he's been eyeing the move for a while and thinks he'd be a great fit as he's already well-versed in the legal system.
"After going through all that stuff with the corrupt courts in New York, I think I have a pretty good handle on how things work," Trump said. "There can't be that much to it. Just bang the wooden hammer thing and create your own rules and laws all the time. Some are saying I'm going to be the best District Court judge that ever lived. I didn't say it, but some have."
At publishing time, Trump decided he might also try his hand at running for Congress for when he needs to have a break and take a much-needed rest from doing any work.
