You're up at 4 fuggin AM and you don't have time???? What busy thing were you doing at that ungodly hour besides avoiding a proper WRC???

In. Spring has definitely been an interesting one in the past week. Got a tornado outbreak a week ago (thankfully we made it through ok). But many places saw significant damage including the southern STL suburb of Arnold. What was interesting is the tornado that passed through the busiest part of that town tore up storefronts, damaged gas stations, signs, traffic signals, ripped shingles off houses, but in its path was a Chick-fil-a that didn't have a single scratch. I saw pictures of debris scattered everywhere around the building but none of it from the CFA. As much as I believe God should have taken a mulligan when he came up with and created the wind concept, he still works in mysterious ways.

Kids are now on Spring break so that means we are traveling somewhere next week. We leave tomorrow for a road trip to Orlando and Universal Studios. I haven't been there since 2000 and from what I remember from that trip versus what I'm seeing now, it's a whole new park. Looks pretty cool but gone are the days when you ride the movies and enjoy the special effects instead of them all being thrill rides where we have to help the actors defeat the villains or something like that. Looks like stimulation overload!

I am glad to see The Incredible Hulk coaster still at Islands of Adventure. Really looking forward to getting back on that one.

Time to start packing, need to pick up the rental vehicle, later all.

IN---paying zero attention to NCAA brackets. Was fun to swim in 2003 thanks the Carmello Anthony and the Syracuse Orange.

When I checked my standing for my bracket yesterday, I was in 18,000,000+th place nationally

Went to a fund raiser last night, missed out on both of the silent auction things I tried for, and of course I wasn't too upset about that. But then came the live auctions, which are the big ticket items, and when this bracelet came up, my wife started hitting me under the table. Damn. Guess I have to bid on it. The room was filled with people who are more well off than we are, but ended up winning it. Wife didn't tell me before, but it wasn't for her. It is for our daughter who is getting married later this year. And so ok, I get it now. She'll like it and yes we'll get a tax deduction in the process, rack my beautiful wife.

LSU baseball won at Texas yesterday, two more games this weekend, hope I can watch. Now getting ready to go to NOLA for brunch with another daughter who is down there for a wedding. Always nice to see your kids. Gotta go, y'all have a good one.

on this august occasion, I must quote a couple words from the Frank Zappa song Flakes that are personally relevant:

...I'm a moron...

that is all
