Taiwanese players look at the coaches when they’re talked to. Haven’t seen American kid yet who does that. They all look anywhere but at the coach.

Florida’s comeback yesterday against Texas was wild.

Bottom 6. Taipei leads Florida, 1-0.

Been some pretty defense in this game.

Home run derby winner up with runner on and 2 outs. Walked him.

Tied it! Single. Coach took a big chance and sent runner. Runner scoring from 2nd on base hit not a gimme in LL.

Damn. Extra innings.

Taipei got 2 on, but Florida stopped ‘em. Bottom 7.

Bottom 8. Still 1-1.

Florida won! Start the 8th with a runner at 2nd. Florida bunted. Throw to 1st. No one there.

Just saw it on the news this morning.

Kind of ironic that the chinks go down on a complete lapse in fundamentals.

I’ve never played organized baseball, but isn’t it taught that on a bunt to the first base side, the second baseman covers first?

Rack that kid for laying down an absolutely perfect bunt.
