All of the above for a solid 6 years. Then I decided I needed to spend my time making some more green instead of chasing that poli job.

Which party did you work for?

I've gone out of my way to sign petitions at signing parties and the like, but have never passed one myself. I have to much dislike for the common man to put myself in a situation where I have to speak to him where it's not absolutely necessary. People suck.

Why exactly is participation in an election as a volunteer for a candidate a prerequisite for having a political opinion?

It isn't. It does, however, give you an opportunity to have your opinion heard by those making public policy and law.

It is entirely within your rights to spout off and complain....and not do a damn thing about it.

not if the candidates I support never get elected to office because they are not in the demo or repub party.
