Fantasy Football - Salary Cap Style

Post by kcdave »

Scott, and everyone else ...... you now have a LINK.

Yahoo ID - 4602
Yahoo PW - dirtbags

IMHO this is the best fucking fantasy contest that is available. No luck of the draft lottery involved, no fee to join, and no worries about dealing with assholes that wont make a trade to save their asses. YOU pick the team you want week to week. Make as many changes as you want. Multiple players, can have nearly the same roster. Yea, you are allowed to have the same player on your team, as some one else does. Just be the GM and make sure the numbers add up.

The league will accomodate up to 50 peeps.... With all the shit talking that goes on here, I expect this league to be full soon, as you have NO REASON not to join, if you actually think you know a damn thing about the NFL.

Seems to be some kind of glitch in the system that does not allow anyone to join. I have changed the password hoping it will fix the problem.

NEW PASS WORD - dirtbags

Lemme know if this fixes things.

Dave,

It's asking for a Group ID # - not name & then the password.

Pretty cool game, and it doesn't take much time. Scott did a great job last year. Hopefully we can give him a little more competition this season.

Dave my team is listed twice because my log in expired, I guess. I had to re-sign up and then it wouldn't let me access the team so I created another.

Anyway it should be another interesting season, good luck to all.

In as red faith defender.

Do player values increase or decrease based on production, or lack there of?

You could have just shortened that to Andy Reid.

Wags, Im not being a smartass or running smack ..... but you may want to read the rules, if you really want to play this game.

A simple yes or no would have sufficed.

Rules shmules, I never read the directions.

Speaking rules, did any of you experts actually read the rules? I noticed most teams already are at the cap limit.

Yes mensa-in-philly, i did just read the rules, and I certainly don't see any reason not to use all of the cap limit.

Perhaps you, being the expert and all, can explain different.

Oh, and dave? The only difference I see in the rules from any salary cap format I've ever played is being able to adjust the "unit value" or whatever.

Sounds like an easy way of getting out of spending too much for too little.

I think I prefer the stock market format better, where if a lot of peeps jump on a player the price goes up, and conversely.

But WTH, should be interesting.

Jim in Philly, please explain why being near the cap limit is a bad thing.

errr, do I hafta?

I think I'll just do a roll-eyes thingy rather than come correct, that seems like the safe thing.

You are supposed to draft to the salary cap as much as you can. That's the point of the game. I have no idea what Jim is talking about. Unless he is trying to be slick and get over on everyone.
Myself I am going to win anyways, so I do not need to do that.
