We can not tax raise our way out of this mess.

The only way is large cuts in the size of the federal government.

A Rand Paul economic proposal would do it. An RFK one might as well, although he's a little too wedded to the social spending side. Sure wish he'd get on the 10th Ammendment bandwagon.

Wanna know what won't do it?

Taxing corporations and "The Rich".

They won't play along. Not in a world with an international economy. They'll go where the best tax environment exists.

There is one way to have a system with a huge nation-wide social net. Make it a small country populated overwhelmingly by Norwegians. Give it huge natural resources (North Sea oil) and tax the buhjeeezus out of EVERYFUKKINGBODY. Those pasty fukks make it work reasonably well, although I'm not sure what the fukk they're gonna do when the anti-carbon crowd gets their way.

We have the resources, but we're chockful of non-Norwegians who have been sold the lie that they can have their free lunch and Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and Elon Musk will pay for it.

Kamala’s economic policies (which have been posted on her website since Joe got a bad cold) will also officially end the grocery store inflation problem and pretty much turn muck into gold.

This is exactly what my friend Noah and I told those wanks at the BBC when we were in Chicago for the DNC. All my fellow leftists agreed, and we should also consider a higher tax rate for white men. This is in the works.
