In 2017- 18, influenza took the lives of nearly 95,000 here in the United States, and nearly 600,000 worldwide.
No lockdown. Nothing. Despite way more deaths worldwide.
The previous administration weaponized it's DOJ and FBI against the incoming president and his administration, on bullshit propaganda.
Now, the left has coordinated worldwide chaotic violence.
The American people understand ALL of this now.

Anyfuck, I've been doing my own bit of quarantining (aka 'tining) out in the wilderness...but then again, I'd be doing that anyway. Recently got back from a 4 day backpacking trip at the Nordhouse Dunes between Ludington and Manistee. It's sort of my home away from home as it's only a 2 hour drive and dispersed camping is permitted there. Couldn't have asked for better weather. It was between 55-60 degrees and sunny or partly cloudy the entire time. This is ideal hiking weather as you never get too hot or too cold, and rarely have to deal with the usual biting insects. I brought a tent but ended up just sleeping in my hammock since the weather was nice and the hammock is more comfortable anyway. It got a little chilly at night but I was prepared.
Typical forest covered dune trail upon entry with both deciduous and coniferous trees
The forest covered dunes turn into a more open coastal dune ecosystem with softer sand and tougher hiking, especially with a heavy pack
I'm well off the "main" trail by now and exploring the deer trails that cut throughout the dunes
After hiking south for a few miles along the Lake Michigan shoreline, I cut inland to look for a good camping spot on my own private dune with no other humans within sight or earshot. Found a great secluded spot with several nice views from atop the dune. There was also a good makeshift area to make fire and cook.
The rest are views from atop my abode for the evening
Beverage of choice for the evening. BTW dead or dry marram grass is an excellent source of tinder.

BTW...Rocky may have to wait in line. I haven't seen any 'coons around here lately but we're pretty overrun with rabbits and ground squirrels (i.e. rats with bushy tails). I actually pulled a rabbit floater out of the pool just the other day.
I haven't been out in the wilderness, but here are a few pics from our front yard a couple of days ago.

Normal vermin take overs. I noticed a smell in my storage shed the other day, got to looking and there was a dead juvenile cottontail rabbit dead. Apparently got in there while I leave the doors open during the day and was too stupid to get out the next morning when I opened it up.
The fucking grey diggers, (squirrels ) cagey little fuckers, they raid the bird feeders and will dig under anything to get under your house. They breed like the rats they are. I have whacked 7 of them so far this spring in the rim rock area behind my house. They are poptard stupid, they run along, stop and then stand on their hind legs to look around at which time I dump a .177 caliber pellet into their dome at 1000 feet a second, and they drop like rocks. Their home boys come along and drag them back down one of their million holes and cannibalize his ass.
The other rodents around here are the fucking prairie dogs. This time of the year, they are breeding like crazy and moving into the hay fields. Hay is a big cash crop around here and they can fuck up the field and reduce yields. About one morning a week, I go to a local ranch before daylight, set up a table and chairs, spotting scope on a small hill and proceed to whack and stack about 20 of them with a .17HMR at 4,300 feet per second. Leave them for the coyotes and buzzards to eat on. Next week we are going to whack sage rats, another rodent in some alfalfa fields about 70 miles south of us.
Nice fauna pictures, those are some interesting plants.
