Lynch may be past his prime.
The refs fixed that game last night.
4th and 23 and they give Clemson a new life where there was none.
Oh well.

Again, explain this using the rule book. Start with rule 2 and finish in rule 9.

It's entirely subjective.
In my opinion, Wade had no evil intent. He merely made a good hard nosed tackle.
You obviously never watched football decades ago when men were men.
It's becoming more and more like flag football. Pretty soon the game will become wussy -fied to the point where only wussies and sissies will enjoy it.
If that's what you like, then more power to you.
But I stand by my take that there was no intent there and a warning should've been given instead.

Intent matters not in a 9.1.3 targeting call. All that matters is first contact with the crown of the helmet. This rule is in place to protect the guy doing the hitting.
You can claim that today’s football is more like flag or played by wussies all you want. But (insert your favorite player here from 25 years ago or older) and he wouldn’t know what hit him. Players today are bigger, faster, stronger with better equipment and these wussies would kill someone from a previous generation.
You don’t have to like the rule changes but you have to live with them.

Correct me. Bo jackson and neon deion played 25 plus years ago, and they are faster than anyone on the field for Lsu ohio st. Clemson etc..
So don't give me that crap.
Wade should've been given a warning first.

25 years ago, players were already pretty damn big and strong. 45 years ago, not so much. Jim Brown was an absolute freak, 55 years ago. Today, he would be typical.
That being said, I'll take the olde-timey, kill the motherfukker, football, any day!!!!
I sometimes think that maybe the NFL should consider maybe letting them play, but put a weight limit in effect. Let them knock the dog shit out of one another, but have weight limits. Lineman 250, skill positions 200. Maybe let QBs go a little bigger.

Wade and every other player knows the rules and has played with them for years.
I was the correct call. Mix in a few TDS in place of field goals early and this is a non issue.

At the end of the day, you're correct.
As usual, I let my emotions get in the way of reality.
Settling for fg's and their inconsistent play came back to bite them.
As of right now, LSU looks like giant killers. In fairness, that was the Sooners shit defense they were up against.
If Clemson pulls this off, they get mad respect. As of now, it's LSU.

Since you're "new" here, perhaps you should heed the motto "read more, post less." Maybe hang back a bit and try to pick your spots. You don't have to rush to the desktop PC and mash your dick beaters all over the keyboard every time some ignorant thought races through your liver-spotted dome.

New York City... simply doesn't have the character of the liberal city of Houston.
Hell of a game and comeback by the Texans over NYC.
Next up:
Massachushitts has their hands full with the Hillbillies from Tennessee.
The Hillbillies have made an incredible turnaround after they sat the complete BUST of a quarterback in Mariota ... and replaced him Tannehill. The Hillbillies have the best O Line in the NFL and will keep Massachushitts on their heels tonight in their own house.

Milton is only happy when balls are chipping his teeth.
If Brady resurfaces somewhere other than New England, things will get ugly real fast.
He's not built tough like Brett Favre resurfacing in Minnesota.
Brady needed that O-line to protect him for so long.
So unless he goes to a team with a great O-line,
Things will get ugly for him real fast.

Chargers are the likely choice according to those allegedly in the know. Most everything with them usually turns out ugly.

Rivers' QBR was a half point better than Brady's this year, so essentially it's a wash, at least for the latest season. Rivers is a few years younger and has been pretty durable throughout his career, and he's familiar with the offense. But Brady is, well...Brady, and he could sell a shitload of PSLs at the shiny new stadium the Chargers will be moving into next year. Plus, he has lots of family, friends, and business associates in SoCal, and will likely wind up there when his playing days are over, so getting an early jump on that is something that would probably factor into his decision, assuming the Chargers would want to sign him. There was a lot of talk around the end of October of that happening, but shit changes all the time. Wouldn't surprise me if he stays w/the Pats, although I'm sure he'd like some more weapons next year. McDaniels likely leaving may also dissuade him from staying.
