Actually I'm not sure if you people are joking. This band is one of my favorite Avant-Garde-style Prog Rock bands. Notice how they manage to stay close with the polyrhythmics (the guitarist plays a quarter note before the bassist and changes to higher tempo in the solo, the drummer and rhythm guitarist play in 7/8 and 9/8 for each two bars, etc), and every bar the time signature changes (4/4 in the first bar but then suddenly 15/16, 5/4, 33/32, 13/16 and so on, respectively). The singer also adds psychedelia to the song by singing also the delay vocals. The backing vocals in the second verse are changed to make fascinating dissonance with the dominant key. Also notice that the drummer uses only the ride cymbal throughout the song, which shows his technical virtuoso abilities. After the solo, the singer modulates his singing 3/4-step up, which makes reference to arab music, but the band stays the same. Truly, I find these guys so pioneering, they're like 20 years ahead of their time.

I wanna see them take a shot at Zappa's "The balck page".

They sound like they practice by themselves much more than as a group. A couple group sessions would help them find their groove.

Uhhhh, no.

They are utterly lost and have zero talent and or experience. This is not a case of a group of musicians who just aren't yet familiar with one another.

I am not saying that practice together isn't helpful, even with experienced musicians, but this is a case of a group of dudes who either first picked up an instrument a few days ago or have been "playing" longer, but are utterly devoid of talent.

There is one more possible explanation. They aren't that bad and are faking it for a youtube video.

If this is the case, rack them! They have far more hits than videos with very talented players.
