If Bama had made the SEC title game and beaten Georgia would the Dawgs have made the playoff?

Obviously with two losses, UGA would not have.

If you want to explore hypotheticals, the slightly better question to your above is what would have happened had UGA beaten Auburn the first time but lost to Bama in the SECCG.

I think the answer would’ve been the same— no playoff.

Either way, Auburn has no effect on the playoffs. :(
