I'm definitely pulling for Bama...i just don't see anyone beating Clemson this year...that Defense is strong and they're fast.

I'm secretly pulling for the Sooners to win it all but I'd say it's a tough pick'em with the four teams in it this year.

Because the FUCKING Rose Bowl should be between FUCKING USC and FUCKING tOSU.

Guess we should pull the Pac 12 and Big11 out of the football playoff along with the Rose Bowl.

Few of us outside of the Pac12 and Big11 give a rats ass about the Rose Bowl and it is the end all be all for those two conferences. Seems like a win win.

And not all cold weather fan bases show up for their team's bowl games. Wisky fan is kind of legendary like that. Ask the folks who run the Orange Bowl. Never have heard anything about Duck fan?

Which "Duck fan" are you talking about? Old School Fan travels extremely well. What we refer to as "New Money" fan will spend their last dollar to go to a game -- if it's the Rose Bowl or better.

Old School and New Money don't necessarily get along well. New Money has lots of chicks who don't know what a "guard" is, don't know what "ILB" stand for, and probably couldn't tell you how many people are on the field at one time, but they'll mock anyone who didn't attend the university as being "not a real fan."

But I'm guessing that's not unique to Oregon.

We don’t need much more. Go to six teams with all power 5 conf champs in. Then select one at large. Top 2 get a bye first round. The other 2 first round games are played at the higher seeds facility. Semi’s in a bowl game (keep the Rose Bowl out of the rotation if you wish and play the two runners up). Final a week after the bowls.

Playoff, plus one, whatever. We don’t need 24 teams making the big time playoff.

Who gives a fuck what the NCAA recognizes? The further removed those dickslaps are from the sport, the better.
