Entertaining week for the B1G but their playoff hopes took it in the face...

1. Alabama (1)...haven't lost to Mississippi State in 10 years; no sweat next week, right?
2. Georgia (2)...the East is won but could do Bama a favor by putting down Auburn prior to the Iron Bowl
3. Wisconsin (3)...can't be too excited to see Iowa come to town next week after what we just saw
4. Oklahoma (4)...a wild game doesn't begin to describe it; showdown in Norman with the Frogs next week
5. Clemson (5)...in the driver's seat in the Atlantic
6. Miami (7)...I'm a win next week away from saying da U is back
7. Notre Dame (8)...a Miami-Notre Dame game with stakes; it should be fun
8. TCU (NR)...back in the playoff mix; might have to beat Oklahoma twice to get there
9. Washington (NR)...the Pac-12's only hope?
10. Auburn (NR)...hosts #1 and #2 over the next 3 weeks; could really make the playoff a bit more interesting

OUT: Ohio State (6); Penn State (9); Oklahoma State (10)

= = = = =

Games to Watch (November 11):
Iowa at #3 Wisconsin, 3:30 p.m. (ABC)
#2 Georgia at #10 Auburn, 3:30 p.m. (CBS)
#1 Alabama at Mississippi State, 7:00 p.m. (ESPN)
#7 Notre Dame at #6 Miami, 8:00 p.m. (ABC)
#8 TCU at #4 Oklahoma, 8:00 p.m.
#9 Washington at Stanford, 10:30 p.m. (FS1)

1. Georgia
2. Alabama
3. Notre Dame - Definitely the best resume of any one loss team. Still has a gauntlet go play through.
4. Clemson - Quietly continues to rack up good wins.
5. Washington - My PAC12 bias. They still have to play Stanford and Wazzu.
6. Oklahoma - No defense
7. Miami - Nice win vs. VT but I'm still not convinced. If they win this weekend they're #3.
8. TCU
9. Wisconsin - Play somebody.
10. ?

Hey, we're playing a ranked team this week. I expect a loss, BTW.

OK then. If you win and Miami loses, Wisky is #3.

I foresee a three-week long cannibalization which will leave the B1G, B12 and Pac-12 all without a team in the playoff.

Wisconsin is going to lose to MSU/tOSU winner in the CCG, if not sooner vs Iowa or Michigan.
Oklahoma and TCU are going to split.
Washington/Wazzou winner is going to get beat by USC in the CCG, if not sooner.
Miami is a nice story but don't have enough firepower to take down ND or Clemson.

My bracket looks the same as last week...

Alabama

Why would a one loss ND team get in over a potential one loss Wisky or Miami? The committee already told us the thirteenth game is a much more important data point.

For one thing, a one loss Miami would have lost to a one loss Notre Dame.
Also, unlike Wisky, Notre Dame has at least played a few teams with actual winning records.

Sure, but the one loss Miami team would also have a win over Clemson in a Title Game. And just like Whisky we were told the thirteenth data point was more important.
