With those unis they not only deserve a beatdown they should be consigned to a season in BTPCFB hell.

Although I was bummed my team lost yesterday, watching MSU and Northwestern go into 3 OTs on one TV with OSU/PSU coming down to the wire on the other...that was some pretty good college football porn right there. But I fear what's to come in East Lansing next Saturday. PSU is going to come in pissed off and probably win by about 45.

Haven't been back to C-bus for a game since 2013, so was glad I chose this one

Pretty much in agreement here. Not a fan of the fashion show. Though if those in charge feel like this is absolutely necessary to dazzle recruits, then you damn well better win the fucking game.

Buckeyes got Iowa right where they want them...

Yeah--what's with the "big ten" these days? Michigan State over Penn State and Iowa over Ohio State on the same day. Their version of parity?

Iowa drubbing OSU was fairly shocking. James Franklin is now 0-10 against ranked teams on the road, so that one shouldn't be too surprising...though I picked Ped State to cover, so I guess I can't really talk. BTW I went to that game....errr at least, I tried to. 3.5 hour lightning delay came with about 8 minutes left in the second quarter. Rather than wait it out in a jam packed Wells Hall across from the stadium, we decided just to head home and watch the rest from a sports bar. The rain didn't relent as the game resumed, so I think we made the right move, even though it was a great game with a great finish.

TheJON was run when someone outed him as an Iowa State grad who roots for Iowa. His 0-11 "lead pipe locks" thread was one of the all-time greats.

It was a nice win. 2018 was supposed to be the year MSU got back on track, so they are way ahead of schedule right now. After the 3-9 debacle last year, most would have been satisfied with 7-5 and getting back to a bowl game. Now we're in November and they're still playing meaningful football with a chance to win the division if they can beat Ohio State. Don't think that will happen, but you never know. That's always a competitive game.

I think I might like seeing MSU in the B1G championship game. It worked out well the last time.

To this day, that was still one of the most entertaining games I've ever seen and it was played at a really high level. Lots of future pros on the field that day. Shitty outcome though.

Don't know if you noticed, but Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins squared off again last night for old time's sake.

Why is it so flat there, and what are all those bushes in the background?

Dantonio is licking his chops. He's beaten UM and PSU already in a 'down' year and is going into the 'Shoe to play a team that may very well be ready to throw in the towel for the year. Yes, tOSU may be the more talented team by a long shot but MSU is hungrier and on the upswing in comparison. 2015 should be a great indicator of how this could turn out.

I'll leave it at that but nothing would surprise me at this point (except for a John L Smith sighting, that would be cool 8) ).
