Yep, I'm ripping off Mgo's meme but I doubt he'll mind.
Post 'em if you got 'em... I'm expecting a 10 page thread, minimum.
Sack up, losers.

No, I am serious...that is the worst thing you've ever posted in this forum. If I could unplug your internet connection at this very moment, I would.

Very much an influence on Bon Scott and early AC/DC.

I've been doing drive bys here for a while, and thought I'd throw something out a little different. Rockabilly is fun to see in person, Kim Lenz has been called the female Elvis, although she doesn't have his popularity, there are some similarities. For me music is a lot like alcohol, my tastes change over time, and while i take the trip back to classic rock every now & then, I like to experience other genres. These days I listen to more blues, contemporary jazz, & a little rockabilly, and enjoy seeing them in smaller venues. Blues are interesting as the lines between them, country, & rock often overlap. Youtube can also be pretty awesome for live performances new & old.

Agreed, that's the nice thing about music forums, introductions to new artists & genres.

A nut for the old stuff and wouldn't listen to anything new. Used to pal around with a couple who organised every show in Toronto and got introduced to it live. The power of a stand-up bass is eye-opening.

After all these years, my boys finally put their shit on Youtube. All time great tune, from 31 years ago. One of the best live acts I've ever seen -- when you can get the crowd in the club to get naked and dance, you got it going on... and they were known to do that.

They both sound real good, hang onto to your EQT, it's no longer available in any form besides youtube.

Here's another solid song:

If you like The Rainmakers, another group you might like is Firetown. They only had one album after which group split, with members Butch Vig and Duke Erikson who later went on to form Garbage. A very solid effort, I have no idea why they didn't stick.
Here's their title song, The Good Life:
Also Sam, I'm sure you've heard of The Good Rats, but if not, here's a sample:

Sam, the Fire Town album is quite good, but hard as hell to find. I see a copy pop up now and then on Amazon, but that's about it. Worth the effort to find though.
