Zona v Whoregon

Post by matteric »

Looks like Cal State Eugene is getting some home-cookin' with the calls in this game... and it's still a 7-3 game at home late in the 2nd half.

Is this the same Zona team that was down to Cal 28-6 at halftime... at home last week ?

Cal State better get their shit together before they head to the south bay to play California.

Am I getting this game on a tape delay? Because at Casa McTuber, they're just finishing up the second quarter. Mensa.

If you read the next post... you'd know it was a typo.

That being said, Cal is going to pound this State team when they head to the south bay, if they don't step it up in the 2nd half.

A "typo"? Oh yes, a 7-letter word comes out as a 4-letter word, and that's a "typo".

Oh, Zona cared last week... but were spotted 21 points in the 4th quarter by the PAC 12 refs.

The PAC 12 refs called "slapping the ball outta bounds" on Cal on an onside kick... a penalty (when there is no such penalty in College Football)

Too funny

Then the PAC 12 refs... called Cal off-sides on two onside kicks by Zona... when it was showed that Zona was the team that was off-sides.

You can't make this shit up... when it comes to the PAC 12 refs.

I hardly saw any of the game.

The Royals are in the playoffs for the first time since I was four . . . football other than OU is on hold while the Royals are on the field.

Sorry Dins, I really thought you guys were the best team in the country. I thought Zona was undervalued as well and said that in here after the UTSA game.

Props to 'Zona.

Not sure why the Ducks have slowed down, but they are not snapping the ball nearly as quickly as they have been in seasons past.

The Ducks may still have official colors, but that doesn't mean they will use any or even one of them in a football uniform. The Ducks identity is that they don't have one and you have to tune in to see how good or awful this weeks combo is.

I think four of their starting OL were injured. Still, you can't lose at home to the Fighting DickRods.

Can't blame Oregon for looking ahead.

Hopefully UCLA won't make same mistake against Utes.

can you look ahead from a thursday game? with two extra days? buff nation and i both weren't too impressed with helfrich when he was at CU with Hawkins. seems closer to Manny Diaz than wunderkind ready for top 10 HC gig. one loss doesn't mean i'm right, but this is the kind of thing that comes from inexperience.

Stanford vs Oregon will still decide the Pac12 North. Neither Stanford's loss to SC or Oregon's loss last night did anything to change that.

Ummmm.... Cal is a "hail mary" and three horrible calls(costing them 21 points in the 4th quarter) away from being 4-0.

The problem furd and whoregon will have is... trying to keep up with Cal's scoring offense.

yup, OU played La Tech in Week 1....Landry Jones put 60 on Manny twice i think in Dallas....Landry had issues and no run game to help him and a lot of dropped passes on crucial downs in big games throughout his career but it was all blue skies and td's against Manny. i thought the Harsin, Manny coordinator hires by Mack was pretty desperate and weird. sort of like your dad showing up with Beats by Dre headphones plugged into his Walkman cassette player and calling you "daddy-o" or something.

edit: turns out it was just 55 and 61. not 60 twice. :?

1. No reason we should have such a rookie coaching staff. Helfrich, Frost and Pellum all in their first roles as HC, OC, Dc. Poor hires...all of them.

2. Even Chip is struggling to overcome O-line injuries.

3. You can't make that Personal Foul call in that situation. Pathetic.
