Presidents Cup-Call it

Post by Felix »

Americans v. the rest of world (excluding Europe)

to me the Presidents Cup has always fulfilled two niches

1. find a team the americans can beat on a consistent basis
2. gin up a made for television "us against them" event that will generate boat loads of cash

I don't really care one way or the other, but at least it provides something do watch on the golf channel instead of those Euro tournaments with a bunch of people you've never heard of playing on courses that make my muny look like Augusta....

Americans win in spite of El Tigre doing everything he can to hand it to the other guys

Never cared much about either the Ryder or Presidents Cup. Not even enough to pick a winner.

why do you hate America

I was home sick yesterday (nasty flu like symptoms) and watched Woods a Stricker simply dismantle Geoff Ogilvy and Ryo Ishikawa

actually all the americans played pretty well

Certainly looks like the US squad is leading in a boat race. Caught some of it yesterday before going out with the wife. Hefty really sacked up. His game is almost as big as his resurgent boiler.
