I'm going to pick up a new game this weekend. Either "Brothers in Arms" or "Mercenaries". After checking out some of the online reviews, it doesn't look like I can go wrong with either one. Opinions? Testimonials? I know, I know, I need to get a more productive hobby.

What about this year's crop of baseball games? Has anybody picked up MLB 2K5 or EA's MVP 2005?

Thats a question I ask myself often.

I'd go with Brothers in Arms, I hear it is the best game to come out in a very long time.

"Brothers in Arms" was on sale for $39.95 at Best Buy and they were out of "Tiger Woods 2005", "Mercenaries", and "MLB 2K5". Kind of took the difficulty out of the decision making process. I'll let you know how it is.

Brothers In Arms looks interesting.

I'm halfway through Project Snowblind. Not a bad HALO knockoff.

Is the only option for online play the squad based battles with the AI soldiers you command, or is deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag available?

MLB 2K5 is the best baseball game on the market in my opinion. I bought it aboot 2 weeks ago, but due to my heavy interest in Fight Night Round 2 and the new Grand Turismo (this game PWNS!!!) I have only played a few games so far. Graphics are 100% better than last year, new pitching modes, the parks are mas deece and Dinsdale's mom is a ho.

Haven't played "Call of Duty" but "Brothers in Arms" is MUCH better than anything in the "Medal of Honor" series and I really dig the "Medal of Honor" series. Best WWII shooter I've played on XBox or PS2. Money well spent.

As far as the online stuff goes, I think multiplayer is squad based one-on-one. Not like Battlefield. But I don't have the online stuff so I couldn't tell you for sure.

I'm hearing that the PS2 version and online play suck. :(

OK, I've had HALO2 since the release, only started playing it yesterday.

The little bits of gaming in between the movies are alright. I guess.

I was finally getting into Halo2 right before I bought "Borthers in Arms". Haven't put Halo2 back in since.

"Brothers in Arms" rawks ballz.

I just played BIA on the weekend. AWESOME!! The AI in it is excellent. The only thing they neet to improve is the ability to go inside ALL of the buildings. Nothing more annoying than that invisible wall in front of an open door.

The fact you actually have to aim your gun looking through the sights, as opposed to just using crosshairs on the screen, is extremely well done. Great game.

Give Mercenaries a try, just as cool of a game.

Another good game is Starwars: Battlefront.

Huge battles from the movies and you get to drive damn near anything in the game. When any game lets me be a Wookie or a Stormtrooper to lay the fucking smackdown on SunCoast it's a good thing.
