Last year the Broncos won 27-11 in KC and you have to go all the way back to 1997 to find a Broncos team that won consecutive years in Arrowhead stadium. Are the Chiefs so bad this year that you throw this trend out the window or is there something about it no mater how both teams are playing?
I’ll go against the trend and say…
Broncos 31
Chiefs 20
Broncos vs. Chiefs at Arrowhead
2007 won 27-11
2006 loss 19-10
2005 loss 31-27
2004 loss 45-17
2003 loss 24-23
2002 won 37-37
2001 loss 26-23
2000 loss 20-7
1999 loss 26-10
1998 won 30-7
1997 loss 24-22
1996 loss 17-14
1995 loss 20-17
1994 won 20-17
1993 loss 15-7
1992 loss 42-20
1991 won 19-16
1990 loss 31-20
1989 won 16-13
1988 loss 20-13
1987 won 26-17
1986 loss 37-10
1985 won 30-10
1984 loss 16-13
1983 loss 48-17
1982 did not play in KC (strike shortened season)
1981 loss 28-14
1980 loss 31-14
1979 won 24-10
1978 won 23-17
1977 won 14-7
1976 won 35-26

"Are the Chiefs so bad this year that you throw this trend out the window "
...definitely!
sin. yesterday's thrashing by the Falcons
..finally sawr some life out of a disgruntled LJ, but piggy's 3 picks and a paltry 14 completions don't bode well for the inept Chiefs.

this will be an ass-kicking of biblical proportion, although I fully expect KC to score more points then they will against anybody else....
Denver's defense couldn't stop a good college team right now.....

I did notice that Diaperboy seems to pretty happy now, though. Hey the team lost, but he got his touches. That's all that counts.
Really? Where'd you notice that?
“All those yards don’t mean nothing if you lose,” Johnson said.
He's not any happier about the sorry assed state of this shit team than anybody else around here, regardless of his individual stats.

who fucking knows...no doubt Shannahan will turn it into another track meet...Marshall will probably catch 25 against the Chefs "defense"

Neither team can fucking STOP anybody. The difference is the broncos can score pretty much at will on just about anybody and the Chefs offense might not score in 4 downs even if the other team walked off the field

Don't force me to go all DOTRF here, Coods...
heh, who am i kidding? Pile on, party animal.
You can put a red Chiefs jersey on a Thigpen, but it's
still a Thigpen.

Here's the deal.
This team is an organizational clusterfuck because the affirmative action shoe shine boy that King Carl of the "5 year plan" Peterson hired as head coach doesn't have a clue how to manage a fucking football team.
The Herminator of "you play to win the game" has been reduced to "we're playing to improve"... whatever the fuck that means. I guess it means not getting totally humiliated by another shit team like Atlanta.
Guess what, coach? Mission not accomplished.
Yeah, I'm pissed.

Where's KFC Paul on this? Did he have a stroke after losing to Oakland?

when he has a stroke be assured it will be from his heart caving under the 3+ bills of lard he carries around his waist.

I'd look for KC to hang around a while in this game before Dungver takes it away late.

The fact that Huard has been named the starter gives me some glimmer of hope. Now, if the O-line can just keep him from getting killed back there...
KC - 23
Dung - 21

I know you want to believe the Chefs defense can hold denver to 21 points, but it aint' happening...the Broncos scored considerably more points against much stouter defenses than the sieve that is the KC defense...but, like I said earlier I fully expect the Kansas Shitty offense to score more points against Denver than they have against anyone else, especially now that Huard is back in the drivers seat, so at least there's that
Broncos-45
KC-21

So this is one of those games everyone will take the over (now at 47) and call a wild high scoring affair
And yet, many times the opposite happens for no particular reason
I'll say
Doinks 20
Chefs 16
I'd definetly take the Cheaps +9.5

Just to give an idea of how bad it is in KC right now, Ace sporting goods which is the local scalper across the state line is running a "buy one Get One Free" for the freaking game today.
I'm sure part of it is the economy - big article in the local paper today on how it's hitting all sports.
But bigger picture, there is a full on fan revolt in KC on the Cheaps

Yep, and if they don't win today or at least show up with a respectable effort, we'll not get to watch another home game on TV here the rest of the season.
Which may not be a bad thing... I wonder if we can get the league to black-out their road games as well?

Fuck, Chiefs should be up at least 10-0 right now, but at least they are up, which hasn't happened in what seems like forever.

The
Chefs should be up by 21 points right now, not 7
looks like the 12 game losing streak is about to end.
the only positive in all this is that not being able to come in here to gloat must have KFC Paul melting like a mofo

You know of course, that since KFC is gone, your ascent to the throne of tardom is complete.
Seriously - if Pikkkle had kept his N-bomb ratio below 3.1 NPP (N's per post) you'd only be a spectator.
Shouldn't you be looking for something to ctrl; copy about now?

No -but you're not worth wasting anything worthwhile on.
The Football fourm isn't cul-de smack and something more than your spam is generally expected in order to stay.
Frankly, I don't see your visits here lasting much longer.

Thrilled with yesterday's win, but I have to give myself zero props for taking Denver in the survivor pool.

Fuck off, Doucheous,
I'm not the one who has issues about admitting when he's wrong. The difference between you & KC RuPaul is maybe 20 lbs.
