Top 5 internet "error in judgment" rankings

Post by MgoBlue-LightSpecial »

Let's see it. Give me your top 5 list of all time. Here we go:

5. Inkydave AIM meltdown - Although this one didn't actually take place on the board, the ensuing meltdowns were something to behold. Inky was a mod, and a fairly "well respected" poster at that; which is what made the whole debacle so weird. We've seen a lot of dumbasses make a lot of dumbass mistakes, but only very rarely has it resulted in said dumbass being completey run from the internet. Poptart is pretty sweet at running dudes, but even he hasn't managed that yet...I don't think.
4. Rumplewife - In hindsight, the actual ACT displayed here might not seem so bad, but the aftermath and mockery that ensued, even to this day, warrants this legendary folly a spot in the top 5.
3. Puffy coat goes Ctrl-C on Orcinus - "There was no need to change anything. That was EXACTLY what I wanted to say!" Still bwaaahaaahaaing over that one.
2. The Meatgazing Affair

Is that from your private collection of male ass pics, coots?

As for the topic, I think you have to give an honorable mention to KCmcrib, including his pic with the tongue sticking out that became a wytch staple for a long time, and Blondiebabe for the sheer volume of her stupidity on and off line. During her time, there were few who could outdo her consistent idiocy.

I don't think mine is top 5 worthy.

Honorable Mention? Yes, but not top 5.

I disagree, although I should've made a caveat to that..."errors in judgment...that created a massive board stir."

While others have committed errors that appeared much ghastlier (Sup JHawk?) than yours, Rumps, the aftermath wasn't quite as severe.

Yea, I'd have to agree. Crouching Blondie, Shurnken Perk should take your place.

But that’s all they are...they're just a thick book of "1000 Ways to Call a Woman Fat" jokes.

I'm not saying y'all weren't (aren't) creative and sometimes humorous even if it is directed at my spouse; I'm just stating that it has nothing to do with my character or shit like that. All of this shit I brought on myself over here at this board is barely scratching the surface.

No bosses have been called, no plagiarism has been done, no brown stripes on MJ's sponsor...nothing like that.

Rumps deserves props. He has taken it like a man, and evolved into a solid poster around here, IMO. I figger he'd have to be resilient for...well, for obvious reasons.

Got any other pics to share yet, Rumps?

This board will never see a pic of Mrs. Rumps again. It doesn't matter if she's lost some weight since that photo. It will never matter.

However, if there ever was a way to divert all the attention on her and point it towards me, I've got a PET brewing for myself. I've airbrsuhed all the rusty sheriff badges out of my panties. Sorry to disappoint.

I'm with ya PSU. Though Rumps went into lie/deflect mode for a little while, he pulled through it by just manning up and admitting it.

IndyFrisco's gaffe doesn't really rank up there, IMO. I doubt anyone really believes that he sucked cock in HS.

There is no doubt about Mt. RumpleSteppe. There is no way to spin a tarp-sized panty fetish. There is no denying the shitstripe in my shorts.

The "desperate phone call to Zyclone" is a pretty bad instinct, as well.

I've never seen such an efficient plungering as JHawk/lk_pk. That one was over before it really began.

I think my vote for #1 still goes to IRIE. The dude, in an attempt to "shout out" to the ladies of TOT, told us about seeing his wife's browneye get tapped by their methdealer, who upon gazing, had a smaller set of junk than him. That's still the winner, IMO.

Heh. I've read many a IF/Fellatio resets, but never understood the original source of the joke. Never saw that thread back in its day...must've been during one of my many hiatuses (hiati?).

Yeah, with MGO's clarification of the error in judgement, I agree. To this day, I don't know how I wasn't runned by poptart for that one. Reading back through that thrread though gave me a chuckle at some of the zingers. I lobbed a softball the size of the moon and no one really took much of a swing though. Probably out of pity.

Probably because the pile-on, if you call it that, only lasted a day. I think it was Dins in the thread that said soemthing like "tards will do something stupid for a pile-on every now and again but a decent poster doing it is something special."

I dunno, mang. This is Irie we're talking here. I mean, this guy...

Was anybody really shocked to see that coming from him? Have you seen his stove?

AP, although kooky in his own ways...threw everybody off with the pantypic dealio. Utter shock and awe. I didn't think Irie could EVER be topped. God damn, he was up for the task though.

Indy's incorrect vernacular doesn't qualify as an "error in judgment" like Mgo pointed out.

Hell, you could argue Paul's C&Ping of Orc's post wasn't really an "error in judgment" because he really thought he could get away with it.

I still think what Paul did is the worst thing someone can do on a messageboard. That is unacceptable.

AP's panty fetish is just that. He should have NEVER PMed that photo to anyone that belonged to a messageboard. NEVER. That shit comes back to haunt you and it most certainly did for AP. I really do feel sorry for the guy. I do.

Long story short. Irie and his meth dealer fingercuffed his wife while Irie eye-measured that his meth dealer was 2" shorter than he was. Yes, he actually told that story and expected to get racked.

AP has turned into the Cal Ripken Jr. of message board blunderers. His error in judgement begins when this: Image begins staring back at him during his lonely late night drunken rampages, taunting him, and luring him in. Then he gives in. He's just so consistent and proficient at kicking his own ass. He should hawk his own plungers on 3AM infomercials.

You forget the animated version of the clock that lopped off their heads?

Not to mention the follow up pics of BB wrapping her soggy chest pancakes around a bottle of bud, trying and failing miserably at appearing alluring. I occasionally have night sweats when I recall that pic, even during the day.

Rumple might get a top 5 pass because he walked into this place with eyes wide open and didn't know what happens when personal pics get posted. All the other idiots on the list certainly did, but posted / issued them anyway, with a twisted sense of pride in some cases.

That's a BS excuse. Did Rumple just "not know" he was marrying the roof of the Pontiac Silverdome prior to muttering "I do"?
