a friend ("Jon from Syracuse") pulled that on me
in a bar a while back--using a mental image of a
map of the US I got to 49 before I realized I had
skipped Michigan and got stuck !

Would have been faster, except that: (1) I tried doing it in alphabetical order, then realized I missed a few and had to visualize a U.S. map to fill in the blanks; and (2) I actually took a phone call while doing it.

3:27, Wisconsin...couldn't freaking remember the state my dad lives in and it's just across the lake. 
I spent probably the last 3 or 4 minutes trying to figure out the 5 states I had left. I tried to go West to East but skipped over a few and had to retrace my steps.

Funny thing was I was at the Cakebread winery last week sipping their shit myself. And when I say shit, I mean shit. It was fucking awful.
