Since we're getting close to the anniversary of T1B, your administrative collective has been meeting and discussing ways we can improve the board. While the other admins have spent most of the time dealing with spammers and other flotsam/jetsam of our internet realm, I've chosen a different path.

As a marketing consultant, I'm going to be giving T1B a makeover in hopes of strengthening our brand image with a key public relations campaign. Our makeover push will encompass several areas over the next few weeks; however, I think it's best we begin today on an individual scale.

If we're to improve our image and attract new posters, it's important we start by making some of our "edgy" posters a bit more user-friendly to folks from other boards.

Bizzarofelice, for example, needs a new nic. Something less assuming and definitely less threatening to the masses.

Please add your suggestions and thoughts to this thread. An official ballot will soon follow and, shortly thereafter, our image makeover will be under way.

Thanks for your support over the years and continued patience. With your help, we're going to make this board the best it can possibly be for our current and future posters.

I'm 100% in agreement here. In fact I've been searching for a less threatening nic for myself for several years, but haven't been able to come up with anything that really suits me.

While we appreciate the suggestions listed above and will most certainly take them under advisement when time permits, the purpose of this thread is to begin the makeover process with the poster soon to be formerly known as Bizzarofelice.

Specifically, we're looking for a kinder, gentler nic ... as well as suggestions for our 314 resident to improve his posting style to a more mainstream variety.

That said, Mikey, Mike and Paul all appear on the list for upgrades.

A few suggestions:


"The other white meat"- technically not a nic, but bound to draw in more carnivores to the board. That's not ever a bad thing, and the added bonus is that hey mikey will be glad.

"Shinyfelice" - This nic comes with an aluminum suit that must be worn at all times while posting, but not necessarily by "shiny" himself.

I have 3 more potential nics in the works, but I must consult with faust over at the globulos forum before revealing them.
