Papelbon?

Foulke?

Too early, but judging by what JP threw tonight, I don't think there's any question.

Dude was money. Not once did I chew up a fingernail.

Foulke (who btw still remains on my cell phone (WEEI's call) as the pitcher who delivered the final out to become World Champs)
(1st time in 86 yrs) makes me nervous.

Never felt that way w/ Jonathan Papelbon. Dude is a solid starter.

Ahhhh Gahd!!!! Too early to fret about this shit!

Cellar?

Dude, go get back to that loud study hall. The black kids need a bigot to bounce their wads of gum off.

The Tigers are 2-0 (thank you Royals) and have a half game lead in the Central...is it too early to start counting down their magic number? 8)

For my Fantasy sake, I hope Papelbon tears a trendon in his elbow. Foulke is my 3rd closer.

Craig Hansen may be closing by year's end... the Foulke Era is ovah.

It's been a train wreck even in their World Championship season of '04,
but the Sox had the bats to overcome their pitching.
Similar events may or may not happen again this year.

I hope Pappelbon keeps his trendons healthy. :P

Give the ball to the kid. He is simply better. Foulke had his time here and could have been MVP of the World Series, but anyone who has seen the two men this spring can tell you that Papelbon should be the closer. It's truly awkward, given the contract differences and Foulke's past heroics, but if the Sox want to win now, they should stick with Papelbon. There was something absolutely Patriot-like about Terry Francona's move Wednesday night, and we should all be thankful that the manager is finally comfortable enough to make these kind of hard decisions.
I agree.

Screwed up in Michigan,

Other than Foulke's off season last year..

Please share your intelligence...what don't you like about Mike Timlin, Lenny DiNardo & David Riske?
