If Trump wasn’t in office, how long do you think the upward trend in stock prices would’ve lasted?

It was way overvalued anyway, and it was a ticking time bomb.
What a completely idiotic argument. Who knows how long it would have lasted? The markets go up and the markets go down. But not by 20% or whatever, on the sudden whim of a brain damaged narcissist dotard. There is always a certain amount of predictability or at least some time to make informed adjustments.

This is like saying well you’re going to get sick somehow someday so let’s just give you a case of double pneumonia today and get it over with.

Is this what they teach to retarded Econ majors who couldn’t cut it in any other field?
Trump has preached for 45 years now that we were at a disadvantage from a trade perspective, and we were getting ripped off.
WGAF what Trump has “preached” for 45 years? He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. And you’re a sad, gullible little sycophant.
Why do you keep saying I’m an Econ major dumbass?

I have more education than you, including several courses in masters level economics. I also stuck it out in an engineering major you were too dense too complete. All those scary imaginary numbers.

You have no idea how markets work, or tariffs for that matter.

If you are so afraid of the market volatility then invest in gold or stuff your cash under your mattress.

Either grow a pair, or get back in the fetal position in your closet.

Sven, the chart Dump held up is complete fiction.
You are aware of this, right?

Since you're the smart guy, tell us how it was determined that Vietnam charges the U.S. a 90% tariff.
Tell us how it was determined that Laos charges the U.S. a 95% tariff.

GO...

And I'll be laffing in advance.

0:25 to 0:35 of that video...

Whatever a particular country tariffs us, we reciprocate and just mirror image them.

FALSE!

The "tariff" percentages shown on that chart Donald held up are utter NONSENSE.

It is made-up bullsheet.

That tariff chart Dumbo held up is on par with the fake Hurricane Dorian forecast track that he held up.

You MAGA folks seriously need to snap out of it.
Hanson is not lying, you insufferable braindead fool.

You and your TDS brethren have no idea how tariffs work.

Do some simple research and you’ll find that if tariffs are applied correctly, we wouldn’t even need, oh I don’t know, a federal income tax.

They absolutely do - just like you probably relieve China’s tariffs aren’t as bad as Trump says.

That’s what happens when you listen to your own echo chamber.

He’s bonkers according to whom nitwit?

He’s an ardent proponent of taking China to tasks, as well as minimizing trade deficits.

And guess who else was a fan of tariffs?

Pelosi and Sanders - not Trump fans by any means.

It's kinda weird seeing Democrats like Fiat shilling for the same corporate overlords and capitalist devils they blamed for all world's ills just a few months ago. The same activists who wanted to tear down the system a year ago are on the front lines propping up that system. Additional proof the Left has detached from being pro policy or anti policy. They are anti-Trump. If Trump's for it, they'll burn down a neighborhood in protest.

Our economic system has been propped up artificially for a long time. We keep printing money to stall the reckoning but that can't last. Our economy has been signing up for a new credit card to pay off the last one since at least 2008. Everything is "too big to fail" and gets saved when a correction is inminent. This consolidates money into the hands of a few at the top, a practice the Left claims to hate but also supports, for some strange reason. I follow Bernie Sanders on X. He's all over the fucking map when it comes to economic policy, much the way Fiat is. The only constant within the Dem playbook is to Resist Trump. If Trump proposed universal healthcare, the Left would burn their own abortion clinics to stop him.

tl;dr the Left is unhinged. There is nothing new under the sun.

Spot on.

The Dems act like Trump is some lunatic that’s inflicting this on a whim.

He’s been saying this for 45 years.

He’s been saying this throughout his campaign.

It’s like Trump only has existed for these Dems since The Apprentice.

Stock and real estate prices have risen irrationally.

It’s time to pay the piper.

What the fuck are you talking about?

Where have you ever seen me not be pro-capitalism? I'll give you a chance to find it and post it.

I may be liberal. Because the reason you're even posting on this message board is due to liberalism.

My political party has ALWAYS been money. I would've voted for a cardboard box over Trump because I knew what a dipshit he is and how he was going to fuck up the economy.

Once again, show me where I blamed "corporate overlords and capitalist devils" for the country's so called problems?

To the contrary, you'll see that I've posted many times that I felt the economy was fine in America.

When Biden left office inflation was the lowest it had been in four years. Everyone with a brain knew that the economic problems in dumbfuckistan and around the world were due to the pandemic and it takes time to get out of it.

Liberals are different than "Trumpers". We don't fall in line with whatever some clown tells us is what we should think and do.

Republican administrations fuck up the economy. Democratic administrations fix the Republican fuck ups and get the economy humming again. GOP ignites culture war to get dumbfuckistanians to vote against their own self interest, and then fuck up the economy again. Rinse, repeat. But but but that's Rachel Maddow.

Yes, dear cultists, that is her.

But don't get distracted by that. Instead, focus on a question:

Who is Ron Vara, and why is he significant?

Not all that surprising. This is pretty indicative of the level of level of knowledge and concern that this administration exhibits on almost every issue. Public Health, government services, Medicaid/Medicare, Social Security, etc., etc. It's all reality TV to them.

Ron Vara = Peter Navarro fake source is just about what I would expect from that charlatan as well.

But the gullible MAGAts just eat it up. The fact that, in the poll she showed, Trump still has a 42% approval (albeit a week ago) shows that.

Trumpers need a daddy. They need someone to hold them and tell them that everything will be ok.

The posters here had that at .tard with Russ. They had a board where they could post about the evil liberals ruining their lives and daddy Russ made that possible.

When Trump was elected... Russ didn't feel the burden of being the daddy anymore and closed down shop. He knew they had a new daddy.

I'm sure there are message boards all over dumbfuckistan with the same dynamics.

If Trump told the dumbfuckistanians that they could could lose 50 pounds by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge as opposed to running 10 miles a day. The Bridge would be shut down in both directions from the The City to Marin.

They're like herd animals.

Speaking of herd animals... I'm sure the farmers and ranchers in dumbfuckistan are having second thoughts about who they wanted as their daddy now.

Nice people. Just bit on the ignorant/uneducated side.

Of course they were warned.

But the warning came from experts, and they don't like experts.

23 Nobel laureates can't be wrong about trump. Right?

..... Excessive tariffs. trump has advocated for a 20% import tax on all goods from all countries, but higher rates for China and cars from Mexico. The tariffs from trump's time in office are a good proving ground. Economists universally agree that tariffs increase prices for consumers because it's domestic companies that are importing the goods that pay the tariffs and then attempt to pass those costs to consumers. As a result, tariffs have proven to shave growth off GDP. The larger and broader tariffs are, the higher prices for US consumers. History and the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act provide another warning: The most likely outcome would be retaliation against US exporters by our trade partners. .....

Trump hasn’t gotten his Nobel Prize. Yet. Not that he doesn’t deserve one. So you’re going to believe some woke Nobel laureates over Dear Leader? Come on.
