Evaluating productivity is universal to all businesses. Since only 6% of the fed work force reported to work on site more than 4X weekly, I'd say it's damn near required. Having each employee respond individually would remove that task from supervisory personnel that theoretically have more time/valued responsibilities or challenge their possible allegiances to sub par employees they bonded with.

Govt waste is being cleaned up. Everyone wins except the non-producers and maybe they can find another outfit that will pay them to not perform. Accountability is kind of a foreign concept to the leftists but maybe when they see some of their heroes being locked up for crimes against the country they will see how it works.

WaPo Editor Quits After Bezos Orders Opinion Page to Defend Free Markets, Personal Liberty

Washington Post opinion editor David Shipley resigned Tuesday after the paper’s owner, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, announced that, going forward, on the opinion pages, “We are going to be writing every day in support and defense of two pillars: personal liberties and free markets.”

Bezos made the announcement to the Post staff on Tuesday. “We’ll cover other topics too of course,” he added, “but viewpoints opposing those pillars will be left to be published by others.”

“I am of America and for America, and proud to be so. Our country did not get here by being typical,” Bezos continued. “And a big part of America’s success has been freedom in the economic realm and everywhere else.”

He stressed that “Freedom is ethical — it minimizes coercion — and practical — it drives creativity, invention, and prosperity.”

RONG

there's lots of fed employees here in the DMV and they live close to DC that way they can be close to there jobs when they work from home. you cant say that they don't have jobs. and there was a guy who is a fed who said that the layoffs are bad because the federal government keeps the country running

it was an interview on a local news broadcast and the news team on set said after the interview that the employee was very brave to speak out like that at a trying time like this so there.
also I tried to find the segment on u tub again but I couldn't so for a visual aid I foud a pic that resembles strongly the brave federal worker who spoke Truth to power:

I don't need a weekly report on what my employees are doing. If things aren't going well, I'll know about it. I find I get better results when I'm not micro-managing the people working for me. Of course, I hire people I trust and if the do well they can become managers and take some of the day to day bullshit off of me. I won't have to fly out to Colorado, Kansas City, Texas, etc., to babysit and fix shit.

There are times I may need to go out and take care of some shipments from suppliers that may be running late due to lead times which are normally 3 to 4 months out, but can run 5 to 6 months and need to be re-directed to a different city. For example, I get my aluminum from a Scandinavian company which has plants in the US and things can get funky when the sales reps don't have their shit together.
That's a lot of Ren Faires and windchimes... :meds:
🤣

No shit! Laughed my ass off reading mtool’s bullshit. Quite an operation he’s got there. Sounds like it rivals Elon’s companies!

Nothing wrong with personal liberties and nothing wrong with free markets. Bezos owns WaPo and can do whatever he wants with it. I wonder why he felt compelled to make such a public showing of his fealty to the Dear Leader.

Dear Leader must have receipts somehow.

Speaking of which, I ask of our glorious board m0d J.H.C., are we gonna have to craft periodic reports detailing our board contributions? What if some of us never get a rack for our takes? Will there be layoffs, furloughs or castings down to hell for being unproductive tards?

Rootbeer wants to know.

You, however, Mr. Bungle, in spite of your long term presence, have recently taken on a new T1B identity and, as such, you are still in your one year probationary period and subject to discipline at my discretion, up to and including immediate termination.

Please monitor your PMs for further updates.

All praise the Hoove.

If this is an Appeal To Authority /slash/ Airing of Grievances thread, I'd like to know why pytron never makes any friggin' lists.

Right now I’m interacting with stupid. So try to enlighten me. What doesn’t happen weekly? And how often does this weekly task, that doesn’t happen weekly, actually happen…”normally?”
It happens on your review schedule. Quarterly or annually.

Did Muskrat ask for a report on what the federal workers did in the last quarter, year, or maybe....just the last week?

Oh. OK then. I didn’t realize that Ellen was going to sit down with each of these employees and perform a quarterly or annual review. That’s different. How long do you think that will take?
