Fortunately, Trump is dialing down the tension between Russia and the West.

What exactly did Russia give up in the negotiations? Nothing? So yeah, the "great negotiator" simply rolled over and gave Russia everything they wanted. Placing the United States with countries like North Korea and Iran, and against countries like Canada, England, France, and Germany.
Winning! Right?

Maybe Russia agreed to do something really significant in exchange, like fire a prosecutor before he can investigate Don Jr. That would be a great deal, obviously, with a long and storied historical precedent.

Could've sworn the negotiations ARE in PROGRESS. For someone that was willing to cover for a brain dead "president" for FOUR YEARS you sure are impatient.

They gave up the entirety of Ukraine. It was supposed to be 72 hour smash and grab. Pack your parade uniforms.
What they will get is little if nothing more than they started with.. Pretty steep price to pay. Both countries are fucked for a generation over this stupid war. It needs to end.

Wuhan Covid lab planning ‘ominous’ new bat experiments
Wed, February 26, 2025 at 10:57 AM MST
Chinese scientists are planning “ominous” experiments similar to those that could have triggered the Covid pandemic, experts have warned.
The Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) published new research this month announcing it had found a bat coronavirus that can enter human cells, similar to a Covid-19 infection.
The paper concludes with calls for “further investigation” into strains that have more infectious spike proteins, as well as testing in human transgenic mice.
Ominous Experiments
Dr Alina Chan, a biosecurity expert and co-author of Viral: The Search for the Origin of Covid-19, said: “The paper ends on an ominous note – describing a set of future experiments similar to what might’ve led to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr Gary McLean, honorary senior research fellow at Imperial College London, said: “Hopefully the Chinese authorities now have good surveillance systems in place and the laboratories work to rigid safety standards that minimise the risk of spillover occurring.”
It should be made clear to the Chinks that a repeat of one of the most globally destructive events via a virus would certainly bring with it a level of accountability unseen in the history of the planet.

Trump names cryptocurrencies in strategic reserve, sending prices up
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump- ... 025-03-02/
"Unlike bitcoin...these assets are more akin to tech investments," Butterfill said. "The announcement
suggests a more patriotic stance toward the broader crypto technology space, with little regard for the
fundamental qualities of these assets."
Trump won support from the crypto industry in his 2024 election bid, and he has quickly moved to back
their policy priorities. He is hosting the first White House Crypto Summit on Friday, and his family has
also launched its own coins...

You need to extend your thinking, my bigoted friend.
Realize that those millions are a huge petri dish. And the more they get it, the more that TB will evolve, and then become resistant to the meds, and then it will be here killing millions of us.
In order to protect us, we have to protect them.

3/27/25 is -----> doomsday!
Some of you may remember that an environmental wacko came onto the court and tied herself to the net
during the 2022 men's semifinal match between C. Ruud and M. Cilic.
The incident occurred on 6/3/22.

1028 days from the incident ("We have 1028 days left" on her shirt) is 3/27/25.
She was holding five fingers up, so maybe that means something.
Five days
before 3/27/25, or five days
after 3/27/25 is doomsday?
At any rate, #doom is imminent.

so according to Google:
Clay Courts:
Surface: Made from a mixture of sand and crushed stone.
Bounce: The ball bounces high and slow, making it difficult to hit winners and leading to longer rallies.
Pace: Matches tend to move at a slower pace, giving players more time to prepare for each oncoming tennis ball.
Grip: Provides good grip for running and quick turns, and the surface is slightly easier on the body due to its shock absorption.
Maintenance: Requires consistent upkeep, including sweeping and watering.
Hard Courts:
Surface: Typically made of synthetic or acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation.
Bounce: The ball bounces lower and faster, resulting in a quicker pace of play.
Pace: Matches tend to move at a faster pace, with more emphasis on powerful shots.
Maintenance: Easier to maintain than clay or grass courts.
Common: Hard courts are the most common surface on the professional tennis tour.
sound about right? I've wondered about the preferences of those who play.

It is a pretty good summary, yes.
I preferred hard courts, mostly because that is what I grew up playing on.
I played with an eastern forehand grip, and nearly all good clay court players are using a western (or semi-western) grip on the forehand.
The footing on clay is much different than it is on a hard court, and that was something I never got fully comfortable with.
To do well on clay courts, I think it helps a bunch if you grew up playing on them.

A big market correction has been overdue for a couple decades. We've been living on bubbles for too long and I suspect this downturn has a lot less to do with tariffs and more to do with the realization that bubble time is ending. This POTUS is going to let the system stabilize itself.
Trump prides himself on "numbers" and I don't think he loves market instability but I know he needs money shifting into the bond market before people realize how fukked the USD is.
