Second, I doubt that that the contents of the chat have been released, much less backed up by the editor.

Lastly, if I understand how Signal works, there would be no record of the chat 10 days afterwards. If not for the journalist going public we never would have known about this total clusterfuck of a leak. Is a military devoid of any oversight & a government operating completely what you want?

A cursory listen to the hearings going on today shows the dems obviously targeting Hegseth.

A simple statement by NSA chief Waltz, something to the effect like mine below, would have sufficed.

A member of my staff allowed an un-invited participant to be included in a group chat that detailed elements of a very successful mission that benefitted the United States and our European allies.

The intent of the attacks was to damage the Houthis’ ability to fire on shipping in the Red Sea and to take out command personnel. Nothing I’ve seen indicated any targets that were firing on Israel. That doesn’t mean they didn’t hit some. All indications are the mission was accomplished. We hit areas where their military leaders were hiding.
