I tend to agree with that...chain saw vs scalpel approach. What seems to be happening though is "shock and awe," then a walk back, particularly where people doing real work that really benefits Americans and things that matter, like National Parks/Forests and others. Also has to be a reckoning that if you're shit canning young, talented people-you're never getting them back, they'll find work and be successful elsewhere.

And as for the missions of the Agencies you specifically mention, I'm down with their respective missions, but they don't make law and they don't make policy, that lies with the elected governance of the American people and they can't piss away OUR money like it's monopoly money. Whether it's deliberate fraud or sheer incompetence, it's a lot of both, how many billions, trillions of dollars have been pissed/grifted away that could have been used to lift people out of poverty, built housing for the homeless, delivered mental health care, got people off drugs, protected the environment. But strangely, no matter how much $ gets thrown at these problems, they don't get better, $ never reaches ground zero and simply evaporated into thin air unaccounted for and then the agencies cry they need more. It's bullshit that the wealthiest country the world has ever known can't do better by it's own because that wealth is being stolen by it's own fucking government. This BS transcends party-remember that Trump ass-raped the Republican Party before double fisting the Democrats into become the next Whig Party although in reality, both parties are going that way, no safer to be a grifting RINO.

So yeah, if you're against reforming government so that it works for the people who elect it and pay for it, you can cry me a fucking river. Hope Bad Orange Man doesn't creep into your dreams tonight, again.
