By far, the perpetrators of these crimes are in the home or close to the home. Step fathers, mom's new boyfriend, uncles, next door neighbors, and so on --- that's the vast majority of it.

Literally, it is happening every week in every county and parish in the country. Makes me sick, but that is the reality.

The abuse done by relatives does not get prosecuted nearly as much as it should. More often than not, it will be handled via divorce and then a loss of custody.

But look around your neighborhood. Yeah, it is happening there. And everywhere else.

If you have kids, grandkids, care about kids in general, someone is looking at them judging if they can be made a target of their sick propensities-ALL THE FUCKING TIME. A former athlete I coached worked on the Sex Offenders Ward at the Monroe Reformatory, might have been in charge of it at the time of the conversation and I asked him, "Do these guys ever get better?" His response, without hesitation ,"No." And as Roux states and others noted and I've seen from working with young people for 42 years, a huge amount of abuse goes on within families-that never gets reported. Do with that what you will, there is only one answers to this kind of sickness, isolating them from children one way or another.

There only two things in the world that get me worked up into a motherfucks slinging rant this early in the day-child abuse and pitchers fucking up PFP's.
