Pasco Realtor, Youth Coach Arrested on 82 Charges of Bestiality, Child Pornography


SPRING HILL, FL – A Pasco County real estate agent and youth lacrosse coach has been arrested on 82 charges, including bestiality and possession of child pornography, following an investigation by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

According to detectives, Christopher Hayes, 46, was taken into custody on March 7th after detectives executed a search warrant at his Spring Hill home. The investigation began earlier this year after the sheriff's office received a tip regarding Hayes' activity on the messaging app Kik Messenger.

According to an arrest affidavit, detectives obtained a subpoena that revealed Hayes' IP address originating from a Spring Hill residence, despite initial geolocation data suggesting an address in Pasco County. The subpoena also provided access to content shared by Hayes on the app.

Investigators discovered hundreds of videos and photos, including disturbing content depicting sexual acts with animals, as well as images of lacrosse events and Hayes' daily life. Critically, at least two files were identified as child pornography, with one video showing a child engaging in sexual acts with a dog, the affidavit stated.

Detectives reported finding 80 files showing sexual acts between humans and animals, including 74 instances involving sexual intercourse. Some of the videos featured Hayes himself, including one depicting him with a black Labrador retriever, later confirmed by his wife to be the family dog. Investigators believe the videos were created between July 2022 and September 2024.

Hayes, who was employed as a realtor in Pasco County and coached youth lacrosse, was also a deacon at his church, according to the sheriff’s office. His real estate profile has since been removed.

Clemson professor charged with distributing child pornography, deputies say

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. — A Clemson University professor has been charged with distributing child pornography, according to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.

On Wednesday, detectives charged 46-year-old Jeffrey Douglas Townsend for possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material over the course of several months.

Deputies said Townsend is facing 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to the sheriff's office, Townsend serves as a sports management professor at Clemson University and is a resident of Anderson County.

During the investigation it was discovered that Townsend used an app to access a chatroom, where evidence shows thousands of lines of communication pertaining to inappropriate material revolving around children.

Detectives uncovered and connected Townsend to more than 20 uploads of child pornography starting in November 2024.

According to Townsend's profile on Clemson's website, he was a graduate of the University of Illinois before playing wheelchair basketball professionally in Australia and Spain. Before teaching at Clemson, he worked as a faculty member in the athletic departments of both Brigham Young University and the University of Mississippi. Townsend also spent time coaching youth sports.

The drummer of Canadian indie rock band The New Pornographers has been charged with possession of child pornography, according to police in the U.S.

On Thursday, the sheriff's office of Riverside County, Calif., said evidence has implicated Joe Seiders, 44, in two incidents. Police said, on April 7, an 11-year-old boy reported that a man attempted to record him on his cellphone while in a restroom of a Chick-fil-A fast food restaurant. Two days later, officers said they received a report from an employee at the same restaurant who said a man was "entering and exiting the restroom with juvenile males at the business."

Officers arrived at the restaurant and identified the man as Seiders, police said. Officers then continued their investigation, serving search warrants for the musician's home, vehicle and cellphone, according to police. "Evidence was located implicating him in the two reported incidents, along with additional crimes, including possessing child pornography," police said.

Seiders is currently in jail, facing charges of possession of child pornography, annoying/molesting a child, invasion of privacy, and attempted invasion of privacy, jail records show. His bail is set at $1 million and he's due in court next week.

A statement from The New Pornographers' Instagram account said "everyone in the band is absolutely shocked, horrified and devastated by the news of the charges." The band said it "immediately severed all ties with him."

The New Pornographers is a critically acclaimed band that formed in Vancouver in the late '90s.

Former Faith Life leader Tom Keesee appears in Knox County court on sexual abuse charges

Gary Thomas "Tom" Keesee Jr., son of a New Albany megachurch's founders, appeared in court for the first time two days after a Knox County grand jury indicted him on nearly 30 criminal charges alleging sexual abuse.

Keesee pleaded not guilty to 27 counts, 11 each of rape and gross sexual imposition and five of unlawful sexual conduct, during a hearing April 23 in Knox County Common Pleas Court in Mount Vernon. Licking County prosecutors, acting as special prosecutors in the case, charged him with two counts of rape April 18 before the grand jury indicted him with the other charges.

Multiple women allege Keesee groomed them when they were minors into trusting him and then had sex with them. The indictment involves three victims who have come forward and were 6 to 15 years old at the time of the alleged abuse, Licking County Prosecutor Jenny Wells said during a news conference announcing the indictment.

The Opelika Police Department said Jill Brisendine Campbell is charged with second degree rape and second degree sodomy.

Former Choctaw High School teacher charged after alleged sex crimes against student

CHOCTAW, Okla. — A former Choctaw High School teacher is behind bars and faces 15 counts of sex crimes for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.

Court documents say Samuel Melton was the choir teacher at Choctaw High School, with the district confirming he was employed from 2020 until April 9, 2025 – that's the day he resigned after confessing to having a sexual relationship with a student. That student has since graduated and come forward to police.

New charges were filed in Oklahoma County against the former Choctaw High School teacher. Melton, 29, faces four counts of rape by instrumentation, three counts of second-degree rape, four counts of sexual battery and four counts of sodomy as an adult employed by a school district. The counts claim the relationship was not consensual.

Court documents say a victim came forward to school officials earlier this year, telling them she hadn't processed what happened as a student until now. She told police she and Melton had a sexual relationship for more than one year, starting when she was 16.

The documents claim Melton and the student had intercourse multiple times in a school office, and other sexual relations happened "too many times to count." According to documents, this happened multiple times every school day.

Police said phone records and interviews with school staff corroborated the claim. When school police confronted Melton in April, documents say he confessed to the relationship and said it ended after his wife found out.

This is why we desperately need more opportunities for drag queens to read to kids. As things are, it’s extremely unfair to them. They have virtually no hope of winning this competition.
