Mornin' folks!

Post by Go Coogs' »

I'm loving these sunrises on the back porch every morning. It's the tits.

I was watching the Houston/OU game on YouTube after my morning jog and it got to thinking about my college years. I was never a great student and struggled mightily once I started my upper level courses, but I do remember an essay I wrote my sophomore year about Thomas Jefferson's slavery stance. It was by far my best work in college and I wish I could find that essay and post it here, but I'm sure I threw all that shit away years ago.

I have three questions for y'all this fine fall morning:

What was your biggest achievement in high school?

What was your best assignment in college that you absolutely poured your heart and soul in and aced with flying colors?

What application/activity/etc. have you created or bettered in your workplace that is still being used today?

Greatest achievement in high school? Graduating.
College course excelled? 600 level graduate course Advanced Educational Psychology
Application used where I worked? Asian Long Horn Beetle rearing protocols at Cornell. My name is on the work.
I'll add greatest athletic achievement: making the football team at the University of Maine.

Remember: life is good.

Fucked the prettiest cheerleader.

Housemates assigned me to drug acquisition duty in March, 1972. Quaaludes, black cadillacs and Thai sticks = SCOREBOARD.

The 3-martini lunch. It's now 4.
