I was just posting my picks and I noticed that the thread is now locked. I had hit the 'Reply' button before it was locked. I guess I thought I had until 11 central, but I forgot it was 11 eastern. The rules page though say that you have until 10:30 central to get your picks in.

If you really want to know, I looked at the lines earlier in the week, nothing was jumping out at me, so I thought I'd get back to it later. As things went on, I decided to leave Saturday morning to make my picks. The best laid plans . . .

When I got back from the doctor's, I logged on and saw the pick 'em thread locked (I thought we had until noon eastern, my bad). I was gonna skip it, until I saw this thread. If HFAL was gonna try to get in, I figured I'd give it a go as well.

The irony is that I actually wound up with my best week of the season so far, not that that's saying much. Six wins, thanks to Cougar High's failed two-point conversion vs. Taco meaning that Taco covered.
