Of those you listed:
Frog's Legs: sorry Kermit, but yes, although it has been a long time since I last partook of them
Rabbit--yes, once at my brother in law's in Canada. My son commented that his "chicken" had strange bones. (-:
oddest not on your list--Opossum. A friend was hunting and bagged one. We skinned it and roasted it.

Not a big fan of roo but I might have had it cooked wrong
Had Rocky Mountain Oysters- they are ok if deep fried but what isn’t?

Have you ever considered a relationship between on-going health issues and all of this wild food?Jsc810 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 9:22 pm Dakbal (chicken feet): yes, in a soup, have no idea what if anything they added to the taste

I've had rabbit a few times. User to go rabbit hunting down in the southern tier of WNY. Sure it is fund tramping around the wood and shooting things. It was good tasting. But not much more meat than a good sized Buffalo wing.

A German restaurant I once worked at had hasenpfeffer on the menu, so I’ve had rabbit quite a few times.
One thing I’ve never eaten is spotted dick, or any kind of dick for that matter. Unlike a lot of you penis munching losers.

But much like I've never eaten a cow's udder, I've had the byproduct. Akin you and dicks.

Re: Some Foods I Have Never Eaten
So you HAVE eaten dick. Probably on a regular basis. Color me not shocked.
Re: Some Foods I Have Never Eaten
Rack poptart. Seen 48 Hours 48 times and never focused on the Zagnut. I actually don’t think I’ve ever had a Zagnut, come to think of it. I’m gonna find a damn Zagnut tomorrow. Zagnut.
I have eaten a lot of bull testicles.

I stated I'd had cow's milk. I very strongly implied you suck jizz (ethnicity to possibly be addressed later).
This inspired you to bust out the IKYABWAI card...
RIP, Wags.

Fuck off proud ditch digger. Oh and go eat another orange dick.
Re: Some Foods I Have Never Eaten
To be honest, I wish this thread was more about Zagnut and less about the source of Dins’ and Mikey’s Slurpees de Effluent. poptart’s opening salvo was massively overbroad and open-ended, and he must assume some or all of the blame (although he was redeemed by Nolte and the vending machine). You can’t throw a Zagnut, bullnuts and other regional delicacies to this pack of animals and count on any level of predictability. helmet_head (moooot) might have been able to see the future and connect the dots if he hadn’t died defending his lady fair. We debated Tetris for DAYS at SCIII and most of us had never heard of the game. We had a funeral for a BIRD.
Re: Some Foods I Have Never Eaten
Wait a minute. Let’s go back and rewind this conversation. I mentioned in passing that some people on this board, not specifically named by me, most likely have a tendency to derive nourishment by munching down on a certain male sex organ.
For some reason, which I won’t speculate on, you apparently felt that this was aimed at you. In response, while not in any way denying that assumption, you attempted to defend yourself by accusing me of doing precisely what I had previously described.
When I merely posited that your response likely confirmed that my original post did indeed describe your typical behavior, you accused ME of IKYABWAI?
Ponderous to say the least.
How’s the weather in KC this winter, BTW?

Hi Kierland!
I have learned that Zagnut is also featured in Beetlejuice and The Great Outdoors. I am very excited to find and consume a Zagnut. This will happen today.

Cut me some slack, it's been a while. And I do "partake" on an occasion.
Zagnut update: No bars at the gas station or Safeway. Might be something I need to order over the internets, or visit a specialty candy shop. The gas station did have a supply of Chocolate Paydays which is a rare find, so I grabbed 11.

Best deal on Amazon appears to be a box of 16 for $16.50, with free shipping for Prime members.
Good to see you here.

Hi Chan Man! Good to see you too. Why is everybody so grumpy here? Have you been playing sad music?
Appreciate the Amazon research. Not sure I'm ready to commit to a full case. It will probably be more efficient to just drive around town all day and pop into various retail confectionaries, yelling "Hey! Got Zagnut?"

Re: Some Foods I Have Never Eaten
I'm sure I have but can't remember how they taste.
Many, in fact a couple just recently. Love 'em. Have a small pomegranate tree growing in our backyard but it may not be doing so well. May have to grind up some Zagnuts to use as fertilizer.Pomegranate
Neighbors had a loquat tree when I was a kid. Used to eat the fruit, which weren't bad, but more often used them as projectile weapons.Loquat
No, but would probably try it.Dakbal (chicken feet)
Once that I can recall, grilled. Unremarkable.Rabbit: No
No, but if it tastes anything like bacon, IN!Toiji Kopdegi (pig skin)
Maybe once. IIRC, it was mostly a watery broth with a tiny chunk of turtle meat in it.Turtle Soup
Once, when I was a kid. Seem to recall they were pretty greasy. Not bad, but not something I'd go out of my way to order again.Frog Legs
NopeKangaroo Cutlet
Probably when I was in the Philippines, but not knowingly.Dog
See aboveCat
Not on purposeBeetle
NoSilkworm Pupa (a brown bug)
No, but hear they're not badBull Genitals
Ever eaten balut? Had many opportunities to try it in the Philippines, but never did and don't regret it.

Not sure why many of the posters here are so hormonal. Must be their time of the century.
Well, I do play a good bit of blues, but that should lift them from their doldrums rather than plunge them into it, so I can't take credit. You would be a most welcome addition to the listenership. Next show is tomorrow night @ 8:00 EST. Glad to see you're not among the grumpingtons.Have you been playing sad music?

Zagnut candy bar:
Don't think I've every had one, but I could be wrong
Pomegranate:
Pull it apart and float it in a bowl of water. The seeds will sink, the rind will float.
Grenadine syrup is made from pomegranates.
The word "grenade" comes from the French word for pomegranate.
Loquat:
A lot of loquat trees around here. Tried them but not something I normally eat.
A lot of cumquats too. Dins would prolly enjoy.
Dakbal (chicken feet):
Nope
Rabbit:
Several times in a German restaurant.
Toiji Kopdegi (pig skin):
Around here it's called chicharrones. Pretty damn tasty actually
Turtle Soup:
Always wanted to try it. Never have
Frog Legs:
Think I had this once. Tastes like chicken.
Kangaroo Cutlet:
Nope
Dog:
Nope
Cat:
Nope
Beetle:
Possibly, but never on purpose
Silkworm Pupa (a brown bug):
Nope but I imagine it's pretty high in protein.
Bull Genitals:
Nope. Not interested.

Re: Some Foods I Have Never Eaten
Half fill a bowl with water
Score Pom equatorially
Crack it open like you are twisting off a bottle cap
Break into hand size pieces
The seeds now drop in water when you dislodge them
White parts float
Pull them off top
Drain and eat a handful by sucking out juice and spitting the left over wad in cup or out the window or what not
